Hey, I got some of these tanks in on a trade from another member, and the plastic leeched into the juice, then the tank plastic clouded up. Are the tanks that GV sells the same material? Or what material is the plastic? Have there been any problems with leeching?

If they are the same material, would the plastic tubes from the standard DCT 3.5ml tanks work for swapping out and keeping the Ego parts?

Hope that makes sense!

I believe this is what you are looking for...
Polypropolene Replacement Tubes for HYPER SRT & DCT - CLEAR [gv-HYPERSRT-DCTTube-CLEAR] - $2.25 : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more
They are polypropolene. I do not think there is a more durable plastic material at this time.

Norman, Ok
I guess if you ignore a problem it eventually goes away right? Shame. :/ I was ready to spend some money.

Doubt that is is at all.... This is a user support forum with most of the support by other users... Email or PM Dan or Chris if you want them to answer something like that...

Most of the users don't use filler carto's ( which are what goes into a DCT tank usually ) any longer, so many of us don't know because we haven't ordered any of these

Dan and Chris spend plenty of time pushing new products, and answering questions about them. He replied to the thread already, and I wasn't clear enough in my questions to get the answers I was looking for. After 3 bumps, you'd expect someone to help out a customer, regardless of whether it is on the forum they are registered suppliers at, or through their website.

Many users still utilize filler cartos for tanks. The questions weren't aimed at users, because I haven't found any information readily available that could possibly answer my questions, so I doubted any users would have been able to answer it.

I'll consider this another bump, and try for a last time. Will the tubes from the Slim DCTs or the 2.5ml Ego SCT filler-less tanks fit onto the caps of the Ego 2.5ml DCT tank?

Or are the Ego 2.5ml DCT tanks made of polypropylene, acrylic, or polycarbonate?

There's links to the tanks that I am talking about. I want to take the caps from the Ego 2.5ml DCT and swap them onto a polypropylene tube. Which is going to be the best option for me?

This is a public forum that Chris and Dan post to multiple times per day. Other users may, one day, wonder the same things I am wondering.

SmokTech DCTs are great tanks. The Ego DCT looks great on an Ego battery but lack the materials necessary to hold e-juice.

It's not a hard question to answer. All it would take is looking at the 2 models of tanks I am curious about, and comparing them to the Ego DCT. Could they possibly fit, or not?

Maybe the better question is who sells the same products so I can order from them instead?

I'm going to ignore you and report the fact that you're not adding anything to the thread to the admins, and hope that someone who actually knows will answer.

Okay....There is so much activity in this forum that if Chris and Danno were to read EVERY single post in EVERY single thread, they'd never get anything done on the business side. Danno addressed the thread once and probably assumes that the remainder of the bumping up of this thread is back and forth between members....as is what is normal for this forum. He probably has no clue there are further questions expanding the original post. A pm would be nice in order to get yourself a speedy reply....and to bring to Danno's attention that there is further clarification desired.

Thank you for looking again, Dan. I apologize if I came off as a ......

I have the Ego DCT 2.5ml tanks that are acrylic plastic, and it's leeching. I want to keep the Ego bottom cap, and rounded off top cap, but want a polypropylene tank. I don't care for the look of a cone and standard DCT, or a DCT by itself on the Ego battery.

I want to replace those tubes with a polypropylene, and wondered what tanks will fit outright, or could be modified to fit. Will the tanks off of your 2.5ml Ego SCTs fit outright, or if your Ego DCT tanks are actually polypropylene.

I thought I saw polypropylene 3.5ml Slim DCTs on your site, but I guess I was mistaken.

Keela, a PM would have been my next step. I understand they're busy, so I kept bumping it hoping that it would get noticed. I figured they'd think it hadn't been resolved yet since it kept getting moved up. I wanted to keep as much as possible as public information in case someone else comes along and wonders the same things I have.

Again, my apologies if I came off as a ......

On OUR ego DCT's versus the regular 3.5ml DCT's ... the tubes are the same height but without pulling them apart (its not really easy to do so) it appears the 3.5ml DCT is slightly wider. I will check with SMOKtech to be sure.

On the material used these seem to be more PP (polypropolene) but it could be PC also, I couldn't tell exactly for sure, it didn't feel as 'hard' as PC but it was a bit thicker than I have seen PP's...will try to get the info...
