I seen people talking about Books and eBooks but I can't find the post now

But anyways my son got into Penn State and I had to buy some of his books, which by the way,
OMG THE PRICES OF SOME OF THE BOOKS

But what really shocked me was the eBooks weren't much cheaper
This don't make much sense to me why a eBook would be so expensive.
And some of them, even after you bought them, you had to have a subscription to a website that would run out,
and then they would shut the book off

To confusing for me I went with the good old hard cover books

Aw Fringe, the cool kids are RENTING books now! Which makes so much sense, cuz really, what are you gonna do with the books after the class is over?

Ah, heck no. Over the counter computers with the occasional upgrade are FAR less expensive than home built any more...

I got an i5, dual core, virtual quad-core, touch-screen laptop, with 16gb RAM, for $500 -- the laptop itself was only about $350, but $130 for the RAM upgrade and installation -- no way I can install RAM in a laptop! -- and some other stuff, so it came to about $500 total.

They charge so much because they can and because people actually pay what they ask.
If you're OK with just having access to classics, give Project Gutenberg a look...

My son had an ASUS -- he was ready to take a baseball bat to it. I remembered that, when shopping for mine back in march... so I got an Acer.
