What apps are paying you money? And no, if your CPU is pegged, an SSD really won't help a lot. You've got something else going on, and I'd hazard a guess that your something else starts with "mal" and ends in "ware".

Different survey sites I am involved with. Some of them pay in Amazon $ and some of them pay pretty big bucks! It's my hobby besides ECF. According to my task manager, these 2 services are the biggest problems. I just don't know what to do to make them not run so inefficiently!

Actually in 93, I was in business college, and pregnant with my daughter.

I'm with @Croak on this one. Your problem, most likely, isn't the CPU, nor something SSD would solve.
Your computer, most likely, is loaded with malware or worse, which sucks up all the resources. There are no apps, to my knowledge, which pay money... unless you're mining bitcoins. I'd wipe that thing clean and start with a fresh Windoze install, or better yet, Linux. Then see what can be done to increase performace...

It's not the apps. They run fine on my phone and my desktop. The laptop had issues long before I started running them.
