I've been hitting my Mutation V3 again lately. It always seems to be my go to atty, the perfect combination of flavor and vapor production. Today I plan on experimenting more with a Sapor. Vapor production, no leaking, and juice capacity is great but I need to get the flavor production better.

I have always used organic cotton squares but want to try cotton bacon. Has anyone here tried cotton bacon? If so, how did you like it?

Oh, in honor of the tread too. I will also be hitting my Smoktech TVF4 too!:2cool:
Cotton bacon is good wick it's just pricy I have some laying around I always just go for the Graham's lol but if I needed to pack a travel bag that little cotton bacon Baggie would probably come it's me it's nice and convenient lol

I've used their VG and it always leaves a funny taste in my mouth. Can usually tell the difference in the juice by the aftertaste when he WM VG is used.
I've heard people say that but I've never had the problem I tend to let it steep for a week after mixing shaking once a day and air out I've never tried it right after mixing it though I never had a funny taste from it though

Thanks! I have been told that cotton bacon has no cottony aftertaste with a fresh wick like cotton sheets do. Do you find that to be true? To get rid of that sucking on a wet t shirt taste until a fresh wick gets broke in would be great.

You won't get the tshirt taste with rayon/cellucotton. That's one of the reasons we changed to rayon :)

I found that every wick has a certain amount of break in time the cotton bacon I do the same as I do with the rayon I fully juice it and pulse it a bit till it starts to whiten back up a bit then rejuice and repeat once more or so and start from there I feel it tends to help a lot with the break in just so the cotton inside the coil really gets saturated before your first vape

I still find a tiny bit of break in but much less than the ... cotton or organic cotton though but yes I find the rayon the best of them all for sure and that's why I made it my go to wicking for sure!

And yes it is way less that any other kind of wick for sure also it does not expand like cotton so you can make the wick look exactly how you want to vape it unlike trying to guess how much is too much I do the squeak method and put in as much rayon as it takes to be very tight that it almost "squeaks" when you pull it through the coil dry

I was in fact going completely mental -- I read three books between Wednesday evening and Friday night, and yesterday started a 4th, before he fixed it. I haven't gone thru my library books that fast since I a) found ECF, and b) stopped spending 25 mins of every hour on the front porch. :D Spent all day Friday screeching at Comcast, which did nothing but make me hoarse. The "emergency" was that I had no phone, since I'm all alone at home all day; the mental health issue was that I had no internet; BUT, take a husband and put him at home on a long weekend with a hysterical wife and no TV... and it gets fixed. Figures. :sneaky:

Ha! I would probably have called my husband off the road if that happened to me! I have had problems with Comcast and, in fact, I am STILL arguing with them about their crappy router inside the stupid modem. They keep insisting that their router is top of the line. I keep telling them mine's better. They turned theirs off so could use mine and I had virtually no wifi for 2 days. Drove me insane, so I made them turn it back on. I just need to get my own modem so I can use my router. I am so sick of slow wifi. I had a better connection in a hotel room in Idaho Falls than I have at home!!! So frustrating. I am glad you got reconnected. Now tell Comcast you are charging them for your repairs. :D

I use muji organic cotton pads, the cotton taste is minimal, never really tasted it much.

I got a pack of 140 60x50mm sheets for around £10 from Amazon.

mornin, I just been in and out while doing other things
You went outside in this mess? Blech. I told my granddaughter we could go to town today but I didn't know it was going to rain this bad! sigh. I guess I had better dig out my rainy day gear. She will get way too antsy if I don't get her out of here for a bit. :)

Boil it in distilled water first.

That's a 500 foot box of Graham's rayon cellucotton from Sally's beauty supply it was only $14 right up the street I love the stuff I have ... cotton and cotton bacon and regular cotton but nothing works as good for me as that stuff and the price is damn right Loki can rewick every day for the next 2 or 3 years and still feel safe lol I've barley broke into it in over 2 months the top is still packed tight lol
I only paid $11 for it (after tax) at the Sally's near me. I've used all of 4 inches of the 500 feet.

I do a weekly rewicking of about 12 attys lol I just have fun rebuilding and like nice clean wicks lol but yeah maby 2 feet in 2 months haha I can take the rope out and rip it lengthwise and it is usually enough for 2 2.5mm coils usually need 2 whole inches to do the 3mm coils lol

Wow, I must be stingy. I barely cut an inch to do most of my wicks. Coils go 1-4 months.:lol::lol:
Barely put a dent in my first roll of 28ga and ran out and bought 6 more rolls in different ga. +1 more 28ga
Got a feeling my oldest son will get the rest of the Rayon when I pass on.
