Well I hope he has a swift recovery. Stones and infections suck!!

But man morphine is a kick in the pants.... I mean, I don't do that type of thing but the few times that I have been to the hospitals and they were like "Mr. Bond, the doc has decided to give you something for your pain" that was definitely a great releaf from my pain.

Once, after they administered that, my wife and a nurse was pushing me in a wheelchair and I was cracking jokes about Mario cart the whole way... I was GONE.... It's not something I condone unless absolutely needed. Like stones, or a broken leg.
But dang do you get loopy!

When they gave me morphine in the ER for my appendicitis, it just put me to sleep... 'course, I'd been awake in steadily-increasing pain for more than 24 hrs, so that's probably why!
