What is more amazing, the man made lake in which could feed hundreds of thousands, or the fact we as a people refuse to find better ways of desalinization.
Amazes me constantly, coastal communities, in which a very large portion of humans (and other anomalies reside) , take fresh inland water for use. Makes absolutely no common
sense.
Hell, an offshore vessel has the ability to purify water for it's inhabitants, why is it coastal communities are still dragging water away from the desert. Desalinization is by far a new technology. Countless trillions of gallons of water at your feet, yet nothing is done to make it consumable.
I suppose we'll have to wait until the Colorado runs dry. Then again, they'll be piping it out of the great lakes for billions of dollars, before they spend that amount to use what is in front of them.
