When you are connected to the mod by selecting the mod and then going to the page that looks like a big wheel and shows the stats of your vape, go to the settings page (the icon looks like a gear). At the bottom of the settings page select the "upgradation" option and that takes you to the page that allows you to purchase the upgrades.

FYI, unless you are on firmware 1.091 or 1.092, the option to add stainless steel will not appear.

FYI, the Titanium mode is now free (as a couple weeks ago, with firmware version 1.08, most devices in the channel seem to still be on FW v1.07, current as of this week is FW v1.09). So, no more paying $0.49 for it, but you still need to use the smartphone app to enable it for now.

My glass twist fine. It was never "stuck" to the o-ring. Outward force was required to get the glass out though. It is not like a threaded screw.

No it isn't threaded, but some are stuck. Twisting first seemed to release release it cleanly. once it turned freely I applied upward twisting pressure.

Probably should have put some e-liquid on the o-rings, but I got in a hurry after cleaning. Even had to take it back apart because I didn't soak the Coil first.

Yep, the upgradation button also is unfortunately giving me the "unknown error, please contact with administrator" error. That and the temp control button. Every single thing else in the app works. Kinda cool really, shows it holding very close to temp, how many V & W, even the LCD function works great in the App. Like I said, reports are pouring in, I am sure. It'll get resolved. I'm sure not going to look a gift horse like this in the mouth!

Just give it time. It will eventually resolve itself and will start working again.

The app is pretty cool. I'm afraid it is going to be a HUGE battery drain though. I know Bluetooth kills my phones battery, I can't imagine what it does to a couple 18650's pushing 100 watts and sending detailed information over Bluetooth to my phone.

You can set Bluetooth to automatically turn off on the x cube 2 in the settings. I set mine to automatically go off after 10 minutes in hopes of saving battery life.

This mod does so much I'm not sure there is any need to "upgrade" until they can fit the same amount of toys/detail/gadgets/power in a device with smaller box.

Yes, me too.

All to often though, something comes up when it's on. Kids need taken care of. Dog needs out. Phone rings. Someone at the door. Whatever. It never fails some distraction comes up. So in the settings I've set Bluetooth to a timer, and I think it is wonderful that they incorporated that in to the device. I wish apple were so smart to allow me to do the same on my phone.

Yep, do it all the time. VG only sometimes a little flavor others some nic + flavor. Switch on and off on any given day.

any one else having a problem with the smok bec app not working? it shuts down before it even gets running.

I had that problem, went to google play, uninstalled it and reinstalled it and it worked fine from then on.

It seems to be a major update that doesn't quite work right unless reinstalled.

I am. And according to the website the APP is the only way to get Titanium or Stainless support to work in the Cube. I have double checked all my settings and version numbers and there is no reason for it not to work. Seems to be a common issue, but I cannot find any web pages suggesting a fix.

Reinstall it. It worked for me.

All the other modes do is put the tcr in for u

There's a limit to how high or low the TCR goes on each material, to stop people putting in their own values and not paying to upgrade it.
