I do not think I'd does have a batt. I haven't opened it up to check but it would seem to me that they would do flash memory which seems to be a industry standard.

And if it was the case of a missing or dead internal memory battery, the settings would wipe when I change batteries. Which it doesn't.

Probably a firmware thing. I'll update.
It has an internal battery it's under the board with the screen.

@pbanj has disassembled his to paint, posted the pics a couple pages back and shows that it has a battery. We just don't know what the heck it's for! Maybe the bluetooth?o_O

Just came back from picking my son up from boot camp... got mine today. up and running!

I plan on doing some reviews later, but need time to give it a good trial run before I can give a complete review...but.. I can tell from now, here are some points I am going to go over...

Heavy but sturdy. Solid steel, Fingerprint magnet for the SS option, Oversized button does not work well for pockets. Needs to do a full grip to use, Button being on the bottom.. it is almost enough weight to fire under it's own weight and might fire accidentally, and if button is on top, the screen needs to be reversed, and the up/down buttons do not match. TC option works (so far, only tried Ni-200). When temperature works, it turns off to cool down some, when cooled down some, it turns back on... this happens several times during a 3 second drag. Atomizer looks big, but is no bigger than a subtank, drip tip allows air inlets, but does not mix air well. Tri coil works well, but needs high wattage (85+) to work to it's potential... The current version of the app does not work, but older versions do. and so far, it lives up to it's name... a Cloud machine.

So far, I think it's a great "at home" device.

Ya it likes to fire in pocket. There are 2 buttons under the bar, one at the top and one at the bottom.

Screen can be reversed as well

Hit button 3 times
Go to #5 hold fire button to enter
Use +/- to go to Option D (or tap fire button)
Hold fire button on option D then use +/- buttons to select screen position. Hold fire button to confirm.

Boom reversed screen

My settings have got messed with while in my pocket. The button lock only stops it from firing, nothing else. So many times I pulled it out and the leds where back on and a random color.

You sure? I did the 5 fire lock and it wouldn't let me adjust or fire or nothing.

I did just upgrade to the latest firmware....

Whops!

It does let you go into the settings hitting the fire button 3 times even locked

That's no gusta
