So I started vaping on 9/9/2009 and back then the Joye 510 C was the bees knees, and that's what I had. Fast forward to 2015 and I decided my eGo battery and ViVi Nova was just not cutting it any longer (this is about two years after my ProVari decided to crap out on me). So I started building sub ohm and chuckin' clouds at like 35 watts on a 0.2 ohm build. It was bold as hell and I loved it. But then 35 watts wasn't enough so I upped it to 40. Boy howdy that was the spot. But the spot was gone shortly after, so I bumped it up to 45 watts. Then 50. At 50 watts I got that feeling back when I first started. That feeling came and went and I bumped up to 60 Watts. Here I am, as I type this, two months later and 60 watts is just not doing it for me anymore, and my mod doesn't go any higher. I'm stuck here at 60 watts feeling unfulfilled until I can achieve higher wattage. Anyone else experience this? What's your vape story?

A lot of it is psychological.

And IMO some of it stems from some people just being more complicated than others.

Today, my wife apologized to my 19 year son for vaping with him inside my vehicle. I asked her why. So did he.

Her reasoning was that for every study that says vapor is harmless there is another that says it isnt.

Then she cut me off when I attempted to educate her on the subject. Some people just want to be ignorant. Even loved ones. And that can be supremely frustrating.

She also has a hangup with calling cigarettes "real cigarettes", as if vaping is somehow fake or less than smoking.

Thats why shes relapsed several times and Ive been completely cigarette free for almost 3 years.

Free your mind.....and the rest will follow.
I had tried cigalikes (a Mistic kit back in 2009) and I thought it was OK, but not sustainable for me.

However, my Dad told me, while on his deathbed (being put there by small cell lung cancer and COPD), to "quit them d**n things before they kill you, too!"

I was all ready to try Chantrix, but spotted a Haus kit at the grocery / pharmacy checking out with my scrip. I bought it along with my Chantrix, and I've never even opened the bag the scrip was placed in.

I have had 2 cigarettes since that day. One when my battery died and I had not enough brains to have a spare, and one when I ran out of e-liquid. Both tasted and smelled terrible!

Another turning point came when my two stay-at-home stepchildren (ages 29 and 31 - both parts of the family crafting business) decided to start vaping instead of smoking.

The final key was an off-hand remark from my wife. She came home one evening and kissed me and stated "Mmmm... you taste like raspberries!"

So, yeah, there's a lot of psychology involved... and support and participation from friends and family certainly helps.

This is kinda why I was asking for personal preferences. Because I know there is a boat load of sites I can get supplies from.

So for me, I was just hoping a DIY vet could say "I mainly like here and here"

Because that many options just stalls out any sort of advancing I'm trying to do.

I want to do simple stuff and work up. I don't need a bazillion choices...

Exactly why I listed just the main 3 I use. Yeah I sometimes order from other places; to get Inawera in sizes larger than 10ml, you have to buy it from Poland... but to start, all you need to know is: bullcityvapor.com, excigexpress.com, wizardlabs.us. And yeah, buying all supplies (including PG/VG) from Amazon is the best bet.

I'm still under 30 watts, but dying to really push the power with a good build.

I use wizard labs... After they were so generous on the 15 million post contest here, increasing my prize by $50, and giving me a second $50 certificate to pif to someone else, just from seeing me PIF something......i only use them, even if something is slightly cheaper elsewhere (their prices are good though)

Sounds nice.. my mother in law came in and got dressed up and went back out, my niece wont eat anything but mac and cheese and hubby is at work til Saturday so I guess I'm not cooking tonight.. I hate cooking just for me, it seems like a waste of food..
I cook for 4 and freeze the other 3 in individual servings. ;)
Instant TV dinners, but healthier.
