I wish I could get my mom to vape 0mg to curb her cravings for sweets; she quit smoking about 10 yrs ago, says she still sometimes has cravings, and has essentially just switched to candy... but she's a raging diabetic. However her mind is closed and locked tight, she won't even consider vaping -- nor knocking off the sweets, either. :( :-x

My name was MasterChief back, after a game called HALO, but everyone keep asking me if I was in the Navy
I wanted to change my name and then some troll came in the Saloon one day and called us a Lunatic Fringe, So I went with it :)

I remember that :)

Yeah that's not good. My Step-Dad never smoked but had a HUGE sweet tooth even after being diagnosed with diabetes. I saw what all it did to him by Not monitoring his diet and sneaking off for sweets. Lost both legs, bedridden, blind, hardening of arteries, dialysis. So when I was diagnosed i do all i am supposed to and keep it monitored

Just a wee little pill every night before bed. And, you better believe I don't miss 'em. If I do - WHAM - migraine for days!

Thanks............
Just figured out why I've felt so bad ALL DAY. Forgot to take every one of my Prescriptions.

Better day tomorrow, I hope!

Note to self - Take meds.

Yeah, she never checks her glucose, eats whatever junk strikes her fancy, won't eat regular meals... and at least once a year, she has to be hospitalized because her fluid levels get so high, it starts filling her lungs. And still she won't modify. I told her, if I had diabetes, I'd be checking my blood every hour on the hour, and staying on top of it; well-controlled, it's just a PITA, but out of control... it's a killer.

*sigh*

Ill grab it if its still there looks better than the kbox and should do me till I can go back to work or win this contest :D

It's a rather nice, entry level TC Mod. I would highly recommend it at that price. Even if TC is not for you, it's a (slightly underpowered) 40 watt mod.

My sister just bought one. She likes it but hasn't used the temp control function.

I have one...it's a nice little mod, but for TC I prefer my iPV 4 or Evic VT...still for the price it's a good one to try TC if you haven't yet!

Yeah my son has diabetes...diagnosed at 9, he's 23 now...he's taken care of it and managed it all since about a month after he was diagnosed...it's tough, but it doesn't have to be the end of things...just a change...good for you for being proactive...sorry about your dad though.

It's so hard to watch someone you love being so destructive to themselves and knowing you can't do anything about it...all you can do is keep encouraging her to take better care of herself...will keep good thought for her and hope that she'll eventually come around.
