Just My thoughts:

1) Had the sensor in the cotton, not against coil.
2) Showed/said - cotton singed due to high temperature.
3) Possibly/maybe/doubtfully - defective unit.

I think he may have gotten in a hurry to review and missed his mistake. It happens.

Wick burn test in the mid area of video, and it will get HOT.

Guess we'll find it all out in due time!
As far as that review goes, well, that just happens to be one I'd take with a few grains of salt, because of "reasons"
