I got mine at walmart. Heres how i set mine up.
Cut 2 pieces at a single layer at about 1"x2".
I also bought some needle threaders and needle nose tweezers to make threading the wick a lot easier.
This may be wierd but it works for me.
Take the cheese cloth pieces you cut out. Fold one in half length wise then carefully roll it up till it makes a loose wick, then twist the ends till it makes a tight wick. Do this for the other.
Take your wire and wrap it tightly around whatever you use to make coils with. I use the second smallest flat tip screw driver out of a jewelers set, you could also use a paper clip thats been straightened then bent in half, just make sure the loose ends are on opposite sides of the thing you are wrapping around.
you should have about a half inch on either side. Bend the trailing wire on each side in half then twist like a bread tie, a set of tweezers makes this a lot easier.
Connect the coil, with the thing you wrapped it around still in, to the posts, make sure the coil is in line with the wick holes. Then pull out the thing you wrapped the coil on.
push the needle threader through one side, slip a little of BOTH wicks through it and gently pull through. Finish pulling through till the wick is even, you may have to gently twist it between thumb and forefinger to coax it through. Seperate the two wicks ends. I use some needle nose tweezers next. Feed one wick through the wick holes.
Take an end of the remaining wick, cross it over the coil so it rests on top and feed through the wick hole, do the same for the other end. You may want to push it under the leg of coil before feeding it through the wick hole.
Gently pull the wick ends down till they are snug and then trim them so that they are even with the bottom of the SRT.
Put the tube completly on then fill with your
juice, i use a needle for less mess. Place 1-2 drops directly on the wick thats resting on the coil.
So far ive had great success with this and no dry hits. If you make the wicks the size i wrote above it will look like its too thin and some juice will probably come up through the wick holes, this is ok, the wicks will expand in a bit.
Hopefully this is somewhat clear and doesnt insult anyones intelligence, i had to figure this out through trial and error so i figured it may help others at my experience level.
