I read a post on here about someone wanting to make their SmokTech Magneto into a hybrid but because I am a new member, I cannot post to his thread, so here is to hoping that he will see this.. To my knowledge...that cannot be done...that is until now. SmokTech released a new Genesis Styled Atomizer designed for the Magneto called the Magneto RSST. It will turn your Magneto into a hybrid just by unscrewing the top cap and then screwing on the tank. The Magneto RSST can also be used on the Galileo because both the Galileo and the Magneto have the same threads. I have one on order and should be here this week. Also I have found a extension tube made for the Magneto so you can use a 18650 battery with a kick (also on order). This can also be used on the Galileo, but the top cap will not screw on flush.

Do you have a link for both? I'm not particularly interested in the RSST but I am in the extension tube!

Thanks!

The Magneto RSST sounds intriguing. I'm a fan of the RSST because of the relative easiness to build. Doesn't anyone have it for some feedback?

I have one on order. It should be here Thursday. When it comes in and I have it built, I will update this.

I got in my extension tube to use the the 18650 with the kick today and all I can say is I have another reason to love my Magneto. My only gripe about it, is there is literally one thread exposed from the battery tube with the extension tube screwed on but that is very minor. I love it and highly recommend it.

Here is the extension tube...

And here it is on my Magneto with an AGI 2-1 setup as a dripper with an AW IMR 18650 with a Kick 2.

And there it is...The SmokTech Magneto Hybrid. It is currently set up in the kicked 18650 mode thanks to the extension tube and I am vaping at 15w with the adjustable airflow controller wide open and it chucks the vapor. So...basically for the price of an Nzonic (just the mech itself), you can have this complete setup for about 20-30 bucks less actually. I am one very happy vaper.

Does anyone know what threading the Magneto uses? M20x1?, M20.5x.5?, etc

I'm thinking its possible to make it a hybrid 350 mod by bypassing the telescopic tube, removing the spring from the firing mechanism (freeing up a little space), and screwing an atty with a hybrid connector directly into the bottom tube. May have to use flat top batteries but I believe it would work.
