SmokTech RSST on a Vamo....HELP!!!!

I have ordered a SmokTech RSST rba. It looks easy enough to set up except for one problem I see.
I have a VAMO, and from what I’m reading, you can’t pulse the coils with a regulated mod.
How can I burn in the coils and check for hot spots without buying a mechanical?

Use a longer piece of wire and wrap more times. More wraps = longer wire for current to go through = higher resistance. Hash tag physics.

Sure you can - as long as your coil is over 1.2 ohms.
