I really want to grab a mechanical but it seems all the good stuff is sold out everywhere. The Telescope and Natural seem to be available everywhere and I'm thinking about getting one of these to play around with until I can find something nicer for sale. Does anyone have an opinion on which of these two models is better? They are both about the same price and widely available. Also if anyone knows of another full mech mod in this super cheap price range that is better than either of these let me know. Thanks forum!

Idk, just bought one of these...dirt cheap...not fully mech , there's 2 wires for the button but its the same deal w/ the natural btw so - http://www.smokerevolt.com/The-Paladin-Tube-Mod_p_400.html

it's called the udt-l on another site and sells for $6 less but they're outta stock. Take the center piece out for an 18350 like so

Had the Natural for a few weeks now and don't regret the purchase at all. I was thinking of the Telescope, but personally not too crazy about telescope mods in general. I like a mod to relatively be almost completely sealed for those off occasions when something is spilled and with the telescope you could easily get liquid down through the mod. To each his own though.... The Natural is 18350/18650 compatible and 18490 w/kick if you so desire and completely mechanical.... I think that was what you asked for as a recommendation.... Never understand why, when someone asks for a mechanical mod someone always gives a link for something other than what was asked for!!!!

I have both of these mods, I like both. The Rebuildable Telescope is full mechanical, no wires. The Natural is also full mechanical.
I had to add a small spacer to the Natural to get my flat top 18650 Efest battery to fit without any rattle. I like the look and feel of the Natural better than the telescope, I like the natural button better too. The telescope is handy for quick size changes when using an 18350
batt you just screw it down and don't have to remember where you last saw the extension tube when you go back to a 18650.

Also the Natural looks cooler with a AGA-T on it.

I like the telescope but I hate how they advertise it is a full mech...I am happy with the natural I sand the connection off to get the brass connection and sand the top to have my aga-t+ flush...

The newer *Rebuildable* telescope is a full mechanical mod, as piedmont said above. The older version isn't

Another vote for the Natural. Very well constructed and durable; fully mechanical. I only hope that if something ever happens to it I can obtain repair parts, but in the meantime it is solid enough I'm not worried.

Some talk of improper battery fit in full 18650 mode. I am using the Efest button top 18650, and when put together the bottom cap was not completely tight, having a small gap. I simply installed an o-ring on the cap and screwed it on. Seals the gap and adds a black trim ring on the bottom. Kinda matches the black o-rings on the Terminator tank on top. :) Anyway, it's tougher than rocks and it looks real nice.

For my next mod I'm looking real hard at the MKB-TS. Just waiting for the adapter issue for the top to get completely straightened out before I jump. The GG is never available, so this will be my next choice.
