Smoktech are bringing out a new mechanical device in the GG style. From the pictures it looks pretty well made, nice to see the stainless steel version will be available from the get go, rather than stuffing around with the chrome versions. Comes with 18350 and 18650 tubes with an optional 18500 tube and accepts a kick:

I think it will also be available with either the cone shaped or flat top cap.

Haven't used fire button like that myself but was watching a some video reviews on the EA mod and got it - it actually looked more natural holding it and just pressing with a pinky. Made we want something like that.
Quite like the look of this smok one.

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of the GG style button, but I've never used one. I wasn't a fan of bottom switches either, but after using them for a few months they're fine. This one measures 78mm in 18350 mode, which is about the same height as the Telescope, I thought it might have been a bit shorter with the change of button placement. I still like it and will pick one up when they're available.

The switch was the only weakness in the stainless steel telescope, everything else was spot on. If they get the switch right on this one it should be a really solid device, the switch looks lockable too which is good.

Don't think so, I heard there's a co op going on for them, but I can't confirm this as I'm not a verified member.

I'll more or less get one, 350 mode with flat top and it's kickable. What's not to like? I guess Smok is listening by releasing a ss model and I think they have learned their lesson about proper venting from the looks of it.

I plan on getting one provided the price is around the same as the telescope. If it costs much more, I'll just go for the vented telescope.

I'm assuming that when you all say it accepts a kick, it's with an 18500 battery, correct? or is it possible to use one with an 18650?

Be aware most vendors are selling the slanted top while the co-ops that were going on were for the flat top.

Just wanted to be sure everyone knew there are 2 options out there so hopefully a vendor carries the flat top also and not just everyone carrying the slanted top.
