I guess I never really have the issue cause NONE of my mods are stood vertical ....EVER, only placed horizontally on a micro-fiber padded cloth. BUT!!!!......for all of the great VMAX family that feel the need to stand your mods up.......

Yeah I guess I should give you guys a little bit to chew on.....OK, last night with everything I threw at it I did see some of the most solid and stable numbers I've seen from any of the great 18650 single IMR battery mods. As of now I've only done prelim testing with the single battery configuration to get my control base line numbers. Logically if it performs well with 1 18650 IMR it should only get better with 2 18350 IMR's and double the useable power. So far I've only seen a .1-.2 voltage drop underload with a 1.5Ω DC. That's very impressive for a boosted single battery setup IMO. And yes that was in both Voltage and wattage. The DC waves look identical to the VMAX but without all the flutter , much better. Seems to be a very stable device with tons of power to spare.

Now feel. I don't think I'll EVER EVER use it at 15 watts (which is the MAX). 3-15 watts in .5 increments is a nice variation of rising power. .1 increments would really serve no purpose here. Although the voltage side still does use the .1 increments which works well with voltage selection. I did set it to 15 watts just to measure feel compared to 6 volts, keep in mind on a normal device I was a 4.2-4.3 volt user with a 2.8-3.0Ω Fusion carto, but when I put 15 watts to a 3.5Ω coil it honestly "felt like" 10+ volts. Now obviously I've never felt what 10v feels like as 6v feels like 10v to me also on a 3.5Ω coil. But to be fair and I'll just say it was definitely more than enough for me and most people would or ever will want for a everyday vape, but then again we do have some serious HV vaping freaks out there...lol. Please remember all of this post is merely a quick 1st impression after spending some time with the device on and off the scope and other equipment to get some control numbers.

All in All I like it....actually.... I REALLY REALLY LIKE IT !! Now for the BIG QUESTION....."IS IT A BUYER"?????......
You bet your beep , beep, beep, beepping ,, beep beep beep SWEET ARS it is !!!!!!! This could very well be the last device I ever care to buy. Why buy ANY other device when you found 1 that does it all....and then some. It would be a waste of hard earned money,IMO. Take care all. I try to post when the 1st shipment is headed to the US and where their going as soon as I know. Till then....Get your funds ready for what could very well be the "ULTIMATE GAME CHANGER" ....The china made.....SMOKTECH "Z"MAX !!!

I hope this post made you all salivate. lolollll :p:vapor::vapor::vapor:

And you only get the unit - at todays exchange rate you're talking $162 for the Zmax on that website.

If that's Smoks pricing policy at play and they really enforce it this time do you think anyone will pay that or will people buy it because of the VW feature?

It would want to be pretty bloody solid.

I believe that if ST think they can maintain significantly higher pricing for the Zmax over the vmax, they have their head in the sand. People are likely not going to pay much of a premium, if at all, for the benefit of VW and dual battery configurations. I'll bet we see similar patterns of price drops as those witnessed for the vmax.

Keep your eyes peeled for further price drops on surplus vmaxes as these are likely to represent an excellent value when they eventually try to clear them out.

Yeah,you used "should" my friend.

I want a solid,definitive answer...NAW!

Also,if it requires a sleeve or xtra long bottom cap,me want to see :)

AAAAAAcctuuuually I said " As of now I've only done prelim testing with the single battery configuration to get my control base line numbers. Logically if it performs well with 1 18650 IMR it should only get better with 2 18350 IMR's and double the useable power."

So yes I've ONLY tested the SINGLE 18650 configuration so far. As far as the 2nd question. You either use a FLAT end cap like our controversial competitor(18650) ..or a 5mm extension cap like our controversial competitor (2, 18350's). The extension cap looks pretty much like the VMAX end cap looks now.

Here's the skinny.....What they did was shortened the tube by 5mm or so and gave a FLAT end cap to hold the single 18650. To use the 2, 18350's you take off the FLAT cap and put on the Extension cap. Thats it...very simple concept. Hope that helps.
