That last 5W if adjustment is rather coarse and its a Nivel,regarded as among the best right now...is the Z adjustable by 0.5W up to its max?

.5 watt increments...probably not to bad unless you are used to .1 watt increments...
I only ever get it unsweetened and it's heavenly. I've tried it with sweetener just once, and found that it "deadened" the flavour.
As for the doublers, a standard refill order for me would go something like this.
4 x 1oz at 48mg Nic
4 x 4oz doubler
When I mix them all together I end up with 20oz of pure heavenly goodlyness at about 9.6mg Nic.

I'm not getting it as to the Panasonic battery not fitting with the wrapper on because their skin is extra thin, so much that Efest applies their's over top of it. Also the tube on chrome Zmax appears identical to my painted Vmax. So you have one coming, expect to love the way it works.
EDIT: I have the Panasonic CGR18650CH that I'm referring to, I think that is what is in the video, they fit looser on the sides than my other batteries.
I agree about poor threading but have not had a problem but some folks have.

I wouldn't worry about it , your going to love this thing .I don't know much but is it possible that without the insulation on the battery it was somehow making the device power up without the end cap ? I really don't know, just a thought. Tried replicating this with no success . Although with batteries that still had insulation .pannys too.

As that is not human nature. People always COMPARE stuff, that's where reviews can be handy. If things are made to compete with one another why wouldn't you compare them?
I'm the same as Dusty. The same juice for 2 yrs. now. All day....EVERYDAY. I do try juices other people send me...I do a lot of DIY juices but most go to other people. I only make 1 or 2 juices that I actually vape here and there. But I buy my ADV in 1000mL quantities every 6 months for $88 bucks. If anyone can find a buy better than that...I'd like to know about it. 1000mL, 12mg nic, 60pg/40vg, and TRIPLE Flavor. I've tried to find another juice that gives me that AW YEEAH feeling, but no luck yet. When I 1st started vaping I would buy $300-$400 dollars of juice every month from many vendors...only 1, 6 months later, hit me in the taste buds perfectly. Now 2 yrs. later....it's all I really vape.
On a seperate note with the talk of the V/Zmax tuning...... I would say give it 2 months tops and we will see a whole different, FINE TUNED, device. As soon as China (Smoktech) realizes that we are now looking at the Vrms, "calculated CORRECTLY", believe me, they will be tuning every VV/VW device they make by the same way we are calculating it, testing it,and reviewing it.
Just wait folks...if it's this good now....can you imagine in 2 months or so how nice it will be.
I do DIY also and the juice I like the best is Black Tea Peach made with Flavour Art's flavorings. I cannot wait to see how it tastes on the ZMax. My last order from FA I got 100ml of the Black Tea flavor and lots of fruits to try different flavored teas, but I keep going back to the Peach.
So I just watched dudes video about the Zmax. And yes I'm about to be a lil' harsh. 1st off...if your going to do video reviews or put your mug on camera......GET A CAMERA THAT ACTUALLY WORKS!!!!! 2nd....to get a unit that more than "OBVIOUSLY" is a defective unit instead of getting 1 that works perfectly then doing your crappy camera video review, you shoot off at the mouth about a unit that isn't even 100%. How can you possibly make any kind of even half way decent informed judgement on something like that. Anything that is massed produced is going to have "manufacturer defect". Isn't their a warranty on all Zmax's for 6 MONTHS that covers "manufacturer defects". Ofcourse their is. It's not like your out $128 bucks. Every good high end mod (for the most part) has a "manufacturer defect" warranty. So all in all any reviewer that would actually take time out of their life to post a review of any product that isn't 100% to me I can only think of 1 word.........SCHMUCK !
Get a unit that works as it was intended to in every aspect then do your video. Isn't that the responsible thing to do.

Stripping the insulation of the battery is a BIG no no and I couldn't really work out why he did it.
Was it because it wasn't firing up?
Smoktech do actually look at the reviews on Youtube and listen to the folks on the forums, I'd imagine a perfectly calibrated Zmax is just around the corner. When that happens, this device will be right up there - and it's pretty bloody decent as it is.

I will join you guys in Zmax land @ version 2 I ordered that DID clone aka the DUD lol. I am excited to make it work and get off the cartos. I am completely DIY in juice and hopefully attys soon as well.
When I ordered it from Mountain Oak Vapors, the description said stainless steel $30
Just checked the site.... the description now says Chrome plated and they jacked up the price to $39 for a $12 cost RBA. That's disappointing. Oh well, I will master it and eventually buy the real DID (unless you guys know of a better Gen RBA). I like quality stuff but I haven't tried a Genesis style yet. $30 to get my feet wet, add to cart.

Actually there's nothing wrong with the China Mini DID Clone! It vapes like a FREAKING STEAM TRAIN and the manufacturer will be releasing the CLEAR TANKS for them!
Agree....manufacturer defects are covered in the warranty.....thus an improperly calibrated Vmax / Zmax is a defective unit....should be covered in the warranty.....at least that is my take on the "beta *max" being sold today.....
