Actually, it's very much the going rate around here.

Pre-dental bloodwork...
Anesthesia...
Xray(s)...
Cleaning...
1 Extraction... (plus $100 for each additional tooth)
Antibiotic...
Vet service fee.

Our Gizmo had 6 teeth pulled and the end bill was just shy of $1000.

If I end up having it done for Dad's cat, she's going to *my* vet. There was just "something" about his office that made me a tad uneasy and non-trusting.

Glad the vet trip was uneventful. I dunno if the prices for cats and dogs are comparable, but my vet charges $50/tooth. Cleaning & all that ends up running about $400-$500. Prolly a cost of living difference.

I had to break down and water the plants in this morning. I emptied the 200 gal rainwater reservoir with soaker hose watering the past couple of weeks. i think we could use a bit of rain.

first pair arrived yesterday ;) 2 more on the way but i might as well make sure i'm set for a couple of years! ;)

mulling over the offer from Panasonic to refund the original cost of my flaming vacuum .................

buy or get an Electrolux. <<< Got a hand me down one, real old, that thing is a sucking beast. tough as nails too.
Ive had one for years now and its never burst into flames once.
