Yeah I know but I can't stand New England!
Just one piece of good news and then I'm out for real. I took apart all my Aspire clearos, cleaned them and put them back together, making sure that everything was screwed nice and snugly. Now they all seem to be working well again, with the exception of one, which is iffy. So glad that, for now, it seems like that wasn't all money down the drain.
