Bear, do Oreo and/or Sheba let you pick them up?
:( Nope! :( No trust at all. :(

Going on 3 years with Oreo (in November) and will be 2 years with
Sheba (January). They keep their distance if there is no food
involved. When I place their bowls out in the morning, Oreo will
come up to the bowl... but slash me with razor claws if I reach out
to him.

I'm fairly certain Sheba is a "TNR" cat. Her left ear is tipped, and
no signs of any pregnancies during her time here.

I'm also fairly sure Oreo has been neutered... so he could also be a
TNR, or a refugee from an abusive previous home. (They do not
ear tip male TNRs.)

I'd love to get BOTH of them to the vet for checkups, bloodwork and
vaccinations... and then just set them free again and hope they
continue to stick around. Oreo has a pretty large wound of some sort
on the side of his head. Decent-size patch where the fur is completely
gone, right down to red raw skin. I'm afraid it could become infected.

:( *sigh*...well, hopefully Oreo sticks around the Bear safe haven to heal up a bit before heading back out on patrol.

Whenever possible, I try to make sure LevLev can see me pick up and snuggle Zuzu...he just ends up with that, "Girl, you cray cray letting him pick you up" look on his face.
