So is the roof rat. Believe me. No cockroaches here--just roof rats.
They have flying cockroaches in Florida. That's probably worse than roof rats, but not by much.

On a happier note, watching rescue efforts in Beaumont--my heart is overflowing with emotions. After weeks if not months of watching the ugliness of the ...., the neo-nazis, and all kinds of other scum, finally we get to see the best this country has to offer: people helping strangers 24/7, risking their own lives in the process. I just saw a Black Hawk and our wonderful Navy lifting a stranded family from a rooftop of their flooded house--a mom, dad, two kids, and a trembling chihuahua... White, black, brown, gay, trans--makes no difference when you're drowning, Mr. President. Just saying.
Gotta go. Maybe there's still hope for us.

aka, Palmetto bug. I can deal with them. It's those damn German cockroaches that get to me.
