night, kat!
make sure you wear those galoshes!it will be slush in a hurry.
LOL....I have the most re-donkulous snow boots....big rubbery things, with big warm liners. They look like old-timey astronaut bootsmake sure you wear those galoshes!![]()
But they are warm & waterproof! I have to carry a pair of sneaks with me because it's tough to walk stairs with gigantic feet
and poor dh just lost his dish signal - time for the roof antenna and local stations![]()
Tell him to hang in there...
There are tons of interesting options. I believe I have caught up on the latest tech, and now it's a matter of narrowing down choices. I am currently leaning towards a Vaporesso Revenger X...light, two 18650 batteries, with good performance with the available firmware update. But the thing is all shiny plastic...the fingerprints on it all day long would make me nuts
But...I think it would be a fairly inexpensive upgrade/stepping stone if I wait for an Xmas sale. So there's time for me to change my mind again working on it ..................Get’em fixed up Tibs .
Hi @daleronIt's going slowly, but I imagine that's a function of the box of vapegear I have collecting dust in the corner

And I'm looking at a Coil Master kit...I could use one of those
I have been using drop in coils for a long time and haven't fiddled with coiling my own for awhile, because life gets busy. However, reading all about vape gear again makes me want to play with the coils again.

I'm glad you can report favorably. I used to wind micro coils on a 1mm needle, and larger coils on screwdrivers, and checked resistance with a multimeterI recently got the Coil Master kit with the 521 Mini Tab. Boy does it make building coils easier. BTW is my first run at coil building for an Ammit 25 was aiming for a 1.4 coil ended 1.5 but wicked up and not leaking, so winner.
The kit looks more contained and simplified! I can also see how the kits help keep coils spaced and even throughout. Hi FranI thought the gennies sucked. Hiya,Stone
I'm here,tib![]()

me too, frannie! but time for dh and then to get daisy out in this mess!I'm here,tib![]()
Well, you're not alone in being a dummy. I stuck with it longer than I should have.Hi Fran
I didn't want to say it, but I think so too...but it took me a long time to figure that out cuz I can be a dummy
I neglected to say hi to KC...so Hey KC!![]()
Thanks for that suggestion. Simplicity these days is key for me. I've been doing some reading on the EgoOne tank, and it's on the list. I definitely want something easy MTL for travel/work, which is most of my time usually. Do you happen to know what wire/wicking material the CLRs use?Hey Stone,I don't know what you like for tanks but the egoOne tanks I do love and the CLR coils can be re-wicking for many times before they need a new coil.
Thanks againHere's the thread,Stone.Nice people, eager to help. Personally I use 30 gauge kanthal and cotton wicking. Sometimes rayon. Easy to coil also.eGo ONE tank series – CLR coil
that's because nice people socialize to no end! Thanks againI did take a look at that thread, but IIRC, it's a long one so I thought I'd get back to it. I'll take another look tonight
