His poor bottom just looks awful.
I mean...they did a beautiful job, a Y of stitches under his anus.
But he's all shaved up and bare back there, and his right arm is too for the IV.
I have morning and evening pill antibiotics and morphine and an evening liquid antibiotic to give him.
The morphine seems to really hype him up instead of slowing him down, but he doesn't seem to be in pain so that's a good thing.
Vet called to check on him this morning.
...... fine and even pooped last night. Lordy it was sour/vile smelling ! We 'bout had to move out

EDIT: BTW Fran... I looked through the Ego One thread somewhat. I skipped a couple hundred pages of posts, so I might have to ask questions that will seem repetitive to some. Sometimes my Google-Fu works, and sometimes it doesn't

So,tib.....how much snow did you get? Just started snowing here an hour ago.Just a dusting so far. 28 degrees.
still snowing but i don't think we'll get much more - about 6'' so far
not sticking on the roads though; asphalt way too warm yet. but i feel sorry for whoever has to go out tonight! temps will drop to the low 20s and that mess will freeze over. this was a very wet, heavy snow - i can hear branches breaking all over
