Okay Snails question for you all... how many of you would, or could, live without internet, cell phones or TV (IOW no electricity) for a month?

I have a gut feeling of who here could handle it and who could not but I would like to hear from you.

I would have no problem whatsoever. Would do it for less than 100K too. Usually when I disappear from ECF I go completely off grid.

@tibs, my Home Chef box was delivered a short time ago.

The ladies already have dinner in the works for tonight. So tomorrow it will be Fajita Spiced Salmon and Chipotle Lime Crema. Their salmon looks really good. I'm impressed with the 8 1/2 x 11 instruction sheet with color photos.

I just had a ham sandwich .... still have that stupid sinus headache, I even took medication for it. Guess it’s the weather moving in instead of the short night I had.

It didn't say no vapes. I would take a couple mechs and RDA's, a months worth of charged batteries and my DIY juice. And books. And one of my guitars. And my German Shepherd (and her ball and frisbee).

Communicating with others? No problem, carrier pigeons or smoke signals.

i do enjoy the boxes when the menu suits me and find the cost reasonable. you can't stop at a fast food place anymore without running up a $10 bill and you get garbage ......

I suspended my account a little while ago.

I haven't eaten at a fast food place in like 20+ years. Their food was garbage then. Fast food for me is a bowl of fresh fruit or a nice salad (real lettuce) no dressing (yuck), yogurt, a protein bar and a glass of real OJ.

Piece of cake, I'd bring books and a fishing pole. Assuming I'd be warm (fire adequate and not sub-zero temps), and have some kind of emergency services available.
