You all probably saw this, but in case you didn't:

New Study Finds E-Cigarettes Are Much Safer And Less Toxic Than Tobacco | The Huffington Post

Something positive!!!
“Switching to e-cigarettes can significantly reduce harm to smokers, with greatly reduced exposure to carcinogens and toxins,” he said in a statement. “The findings also make clear that the benefit is only realized if people stop smoking completely and make a total switch.
Good news for a change in an anti-nicotine country like ours!

Good morning snails. :)

things are good here. I hope you're feeling well. I know you've difficult stuff going on.

it's possible that we'll get the building permit next week. Turns out that the city lost the plans   the rep at the permit department took responsibility, apologized, and promised to push the permit through. Hopefully there will be no questions to delay it again...fingers crossed. Once it's approved, my contractor has to get the people together again (they've agreed to do the work, but need to be scheduled)

Off to walk the beasties (the girl dog's knee is much better) - have a great day y'all :)

Sounds like things will start to move along nicey, now CES.
Speaking of dog walks, I've had a real problem with Abby walking me rather than the other way around, so bought a 'Gentle Leader' haltie, and seems to be working......still not enough time spent trying it out, though but I'm confident it will do its job.

    Fingers crossed for the permit,CES:)

Home safe and the snow has started already.:(
Well, as long as you're home safe and the pantry is full and you're warm, sounds like the rest of the day should be relaxing for you.

My neighbor swears by hers. She has a small beagle, who used to try to drag her. She got the Gentle Leader and it's been simple ever since. I think you'll LOVE it, Gracie :)

just got back, frannie! ;) not much news to report but since they did away with one of the meds his head is clear again and he doesn't get agitated. fingers crossed chest tube can be removed soon but it's still draining.
A little more light at the end of the tunnel :thumb:
