My experience was similar to yours when I made the coffee extraction. I think I left it for about 3 days before all the pg filtered through the funnel. I currently have cocoa steeping in VG and expect straining that slurry will take quite a while as well. Perhaps my coffee was a finer grind than what most people were using?
I've done the coffee many times, and left it sit the better part of a day. I start with whole beans and do a course grind with a bean grinder before pouring in the pg.
I've also done the cocoa...sweetie if you used vg it's gonna take a looooong time lol! Not saying it can't be done, but vg is so thick to begin with, and with cocoa you really need to use super fine filter material (I used 2 layers of paper towel) to remove all that powder and get a clear extract. If you're going to use vg, might be better off using a french press or something first, then filter the result again with the filter material??
