Interesting website, just be aware of exactly what you are ordering from this website! They do sell nicotiana glauca and nicotiana rustica seeds and leaves, but i bet that a bulk of their business comes from the other herbs and plants they sell, which are mostly shamanistic psychedelic/hallucinogenic herbs such as fly agaric amanita mushrooms, salvia divinorum, Hawaiian baby woodrose seeds(similar to ...), san pedro cactus(makes mescaline).

If you are just using this site to buy tobacco leaves/seeds, you should be fine, but if you order any of these other herbs/plants, be aware that a great deal of them are illegal to possess in the USA with the intent of consumption(unless you are a shaman and are using them for religious/spiritual ceremonies). LOL

I only want the tobacco leaves and probably just the one time. I have long outgrown any desire for any other herb/plant used for illegal purposes and am not a shaman nor do I have intent to become one. LOL I just put into the Google "nicotiana rustica" and "USA" and this was the first site I found, the Toque one looked overseas.

It is a interesting site to look over, I was unaware of the existance of most of what they have on the site.

LOL, DG Well, I've read your 'review' 3 times and I can honestly say it's one of the strangest I've read. I'm still laughing....maybe I should pass on it.
Just think if I'm having trouble with snuff that smells like body power, I got a feeling I could have a problem with this one. :)

OMG, you alread said that: "I'm going to mix it with something else. I was thinking of mixing it with that stinky perfumy Sun snuff that I have that I cannot bear to use" well, maybe I would like it after all-both of them together:D

Well I decanted the NTSU into a small glass jar and this morning I opened it and smelled it. The ammonia smell is no longer present. It has a tobacco dirt smell now.

I also mixed some with the Sun snuff, about 3/4 NTSU and 1/4 Sun, mixed it well and tried some this morning.
It is not too bad although it is perfumy (SUN IS HEAVY PERFUME). I had it as my first snuff of the day to see how it felt for nicotine content.
As stated before I will keep it and mix it here and there, but I will not be buying anymore.

I have some wonderful juniper incense that my daughter in law bought for me, I really like it.
We also tried some sage but in my opinion it was pretty stinky stuff.

I am looking forward to getting the leaves, it should be interesting to see if grinding them up fine and adding a bit to some of my snuffs will produce anything of interest.

lol, the 'black-light' bedroom...

Also, I agree DG, sage is definitely pretty stinky... Some people like it, but it's not for me!

As with all the de Kralingse products, the feel of craftsmanship permeates this snuff!

Primarily a medium grind, low moisture. Light brown with a small distribution of slightly larger, lighter colored particles.

At first inhalation I almost get an impression of a mint or indeterminate spice. This passes almost immediately as the moderate burn sets in. The taunting minty/spicy aspect returns but remains discreetly behind what becomes the dominant smell of dry, sweet hay. Puts me in mind of dry alfalfa bales in sunlight if that makes sense! While dominant, the hay, grass aroma is itself on the subdued side.

Very easy to take and keep up front, little to no drip from this one. I'd put the nicotine somewhere in a medium to high range. Overall pleasant, mild and simple to my nose, another de Kralingse snuff that deserves a place in every snuff collection!

darn it OTD, I thought I was content with what I have, now I must purchase some of this one!
That is okay, I will get you back by doing a review of the Latakia 1860! Or do you already have some of it?

The only de Kralingse snufs I do not have are:
Oranje, cuz you weren't impressed
Chocomint, Choco-L, I had to make some cost concessions so I just got the Chococreme and Chococreme-L
Bon-Bon, not available and I hadn't ordered form Mrsnuff for the trial sample

Really, I don't believe there is a one of em' that are not good.

The Oranje is not bad, it is the darker tobacco blend, it just is not Orange. I must admit it is one I do not use often, but it is not a bad snuff, just bugs me that I get no Orange from it.

I do like the Chocomint but I am not sure if I like it enough to reorder

My favorites in order (that I have tried)
Pepermunt
AP
Chococreme (only tried the Virginia one)
Macuba
Chocomint
Choco
Prins Regent
Latakia 1860 (nice snuff but I sort of miss the added scent of something, seems to be high in nicotine though)
Oranje

I really have a hard time putting them in an order of preference myself. Just have to admit to being a de Kralingse fanboy I guess!8-o

FYI, the Chococreme-L is a it lighter in the chocolate simply from having the Latakia base. That simply makes it different, still great in it's own right! The Ao is nice as well for me because it is just the dark smoked tobacco.

Don't know what you think of clove but here comes my take on the Pomadour..

I would not have thought I'd enjoy clove in my nose.

That this is from the de Kralingse mills though, any apprehension to sampling this snuff can be done away with.

Light brown, nicely uniform medium grind with low moisture. While this snuff is supposed to be scented with Bergamot and a bit of lemon in addition to the Cloveoil, I don't readily detect them.

Easy to take, not sneezy at all! I get no burn from this snuff at all. What I do get is a good yet moderate dose of clove upon taking a pinch. There is a very light sweet quality that moderates the clove. If this is accomplished by the other 2 fragrances or is an attribute of the Virginia base I don't know.

Medium to high in nicotine, reasonably long lasting smell of sweetened clove makes this a thorough olfactory delight!

Just get one of everything they offer Wiz! Can't imagine you'd regret it! ;)

OTD, Sound advice! That's what I wish I'd done. I got them all, but two and one is Hollandse Bolongaro because snuffreviews had it listed as boring. I'm sure I'll end up getting it, since all the others are so good....can it really be that 'boring'?

I agree with DG on Orangesnuff not having any orange smell...but, it sure is good and long lasting (as she already said). I think I accidentally did too much at one time last week and over an hour later, I was still smelling a nice 'woodsy' smell.

But, it sounds like I might be able to achieve the same results with A/P - working on it:D

I'm very impressed with the Molen's.

I would have to agree with all that.

As to boring I suppose one can say a Molen's is boring if compared to another Molen's but so far every last one of them are fine snuffs. And I do not know if this is just me but I find the nicotine content to be very satisfying in all of them.

The Orange reminds me of the Latakia 1860 but with a hint of something, perhaps citrus but very mild.

As for Orange snuffs I just might have a problem with Orange, I have tried several and never get any Orange out of them.

Nope and Uh-Uh! Simply plain Virginia tobacco.
I wouldn't be surprised if there is something added to it that I don't detect, but it is nice as it is! Kinda like eating specialty, gourmet ice-creams day after day and then having a simple, no frills vanilla cone. :)

Had you ever tried the Toque St. Clements? Orange to my nose!

Oh you guys, now I'm going to have to add Toque St. Clements to my list and those two Molens:D

DG, I've got another to add to the 'no orange' list...Ozona Orange. I like it for the Menthol, but I don't get any orange.
