I'm fed up waiting for snuffstore to get Dholakia Swiss Chocolate in stock, I've decided to order from the States too.

Of course there's no point in just ordering the one type(!) so I've put in for all of these ones - either because they've been much commented on or just because I liked the sound of them.

They're all American or Dholakia - no point in ordering European ones and having the cross the Atlantic twice!

Skrymr......No big deal that your missing out on the Rooster.....The Three T Strong is plenty strong in the Nic department....I am looking forward to pinching more of that goodness as BBQ season gets closer!!

I'll tell you what I think of it in a little while.

My order came, and I first reached for Toque Lime toast. WOW, great snuff!!! Dry, fine, the lime really is very pleasant. High nic, my first toast. Initial impression, definitely a keeper and recommended.


I'm gonna try to spread everything out over a couple days. Emphasis on TRY....

Well, so many people talking about The Three Thistle Strong Scotch...I had to try it . It's good!

So good, I'm trying it again. I like the smokey BBQ smell and it doesn't burn like the Buttercup. I do like this better than the Buttercup and I don't see me mixing this with anything to tone it down...good the way it is.

Hey Wiz, I broke down over the weekend and order the Atherthons snuff from Northerner. So in about 4 weeks I'll let you know if it's any good, when it gets here.

Back to Three Thistles Strong...nice, the smell is still lasting.

Skrymr and Kitabz, let me know how you like it when you get a chance...anyone else have it? I think out the few scotches I've tried, this is my best so far.

The unlucky part is that my order apparently qualified for a free* tin of Railroad Mills Maccoboy which was on my order anyway (I didn't notice the special offer on the home page before I ordered), so I'm going to get two cans of that - there's enough snuff in this order to last me for years and years (but will it stop me ordering more? Probably not!)

Three Thistles Strong, very nice. Not as heavy a smoke flavor as Square, but it's definitely there and just as long lasting. BIG nic hit. I think it's a little moister than Strawberry and Honey Bee, but not by much. Not too hard to take, but you should still be careful.

Kitabz, we must belong to the same club - I did the same thing So the good thing is I was able to give my Brother one of them...THEN I wasn't thinking or I really couldn't wait until this month and placed another order with Nicotinerush and got another jar of it.

But, a neat thing I found out yesterday is I like mixing the RR Mills with the Buttercup. So it has promise to used more than what I thought.

I'm still having a good time with this Three Thistles...the smell lasts and lasts.
Neat when a snuff can make a good impression like that and I'll make sure I keep it on my desk.

Well that's an idea - I only ordered the RR Mills because it was described as being semi-moist and all of the other ones I planned to order were dry or very dry. I didn't order the Buttercup this time but maybe it will mix well with the Honey Bee since it's sweet too.

Hi All, I got some new snuffs this week and trying them.

Two that stand out - Toque Violet. Wow, this is really strong and long lasting. I do like it and yet I'm still trying to figure it out. I keep going back to it because it does lasts a long time. Glad I got this one.

Another one I'm trying to figure out : FUBAR Grunt that I got in Mr.Snuff's high nicotine special. I think they've changed the recipe on this one. From what I read on snuffhouse.org at one time it had a coconut smell and musk and now others can't pick up on that and I know I can't. It's just plain tobacco to me, nothing exciting at all - and I would have like the coconut smell, but it's not there...nothing is.

I did give my brother a small tin of Grunt, so I'm going to test his and see if there's a difference...just strange.

Snus - I really like the new General Mints. So nice to just pop 1 piece in my mouth, instead of 2 mini mints. They've grown on me as far as satisfaction.

sunset.....I never got the Coconut scent from the Grunt either....Just some sort of Pinapple/fruity scent is all.....I do enjoy using it on ocassion!!

Well, since I hate to see this thread slide down the list, I thought I would review a few of my recent acquisitions.

Three Thistles Strong- nice smoky flavor, fine grind, not quite as dark as Square, relatively easy to take for a scotch. Like it a lot.

Railroad Mills Maccaboy- General snus in snuff form. Not bad, very moist, bottle is a pain to pinch from. Over all, not too bad. Just not an every day thing.

Toque Lime Toast- very nice lime right in front and lasts a while, sharp and not sweet. Excellent snuff. Toque hit a home run with this one. Sits very well, but it will bite if you're not careful taking it.

Toque toast- meh, not much flavor from this one. Hopefully it's not typical of toasts because I'm really interested in trying more of them. Any recommendations on a good one?

Toque Toast and Marmalade- not bad, a little more floral than citrus. Mildly disappointed. Was expecting more orange. I'll stick with it though, maybe it will show up.

Wilson's of Sharrow Lemon Grove- Excellent lemony flavor. Sharp and right there up front. not sweet, easy to take and flavor lasts a while. Very enjoyable.

Out of all that I've tried, the standouts are Lime Toast and Lemon Grove. The flavor of these two is just outstanding. They won't replace my scotches, but they have a regular place in my rotation.

I need another double snuff box.....

I have been rather busy lately and have been having computer problems. I now have my computer back!

I just ordered some of the Three Thistles this week and am looking forward to trying it. I also ordered some of the Sternecker Echt Fresco. I did not have many snuffs I wanted to try so I felt I could justify the expense of trying this one. I hear it is made by a 1 man company and it has some very good reviews. Hopefully I will receive my order tomorrow and will be able to post a review.

I also enjoy the WOS Lemon Grove Sky, I have not tried the Lime Toast yet, need to put that one on the wish list.


As for the Grunt, I do get a hint of coconut in it, I do not use it often and it is not going to be one I reorder. Out of all the FUBAR snuffs I think the Shot of Rum is the best although I doubt I will even reorder that one. I seem to be mostly snuffing my Molen's and 5 Photo's and just taking a pinch here and there of all the others.

Anyway it is good to have my own computer back!

Well sadly the mailman did not come through today. I placed this order from Mr Snuff and although he shipped same day I ordered it still seems to take three days to get to me instead of the two from Nicotine Rush. I am bummed as I was looking forward to trying new snuffs this weekend. Well at least having new snuff will brighten up my Monday!
