I am one of the people who needs tobacco alkaloids to stay away from analogs. At first, snus were my salvation, I felt totally at peace. After a month or so the good feeling of peace slowly dwindled to where using snus isnt helping me at all. I started with Generals, roda lacket, skruf and now my snus of choice is skruf original portion, which I even tried 2 at a time with no results. I also use Stonewalls. I have something under my lip now almost constantly trying to feel less awful.

If someone else has experienced this immunity to snus over time and found a way to overcome it I would appreciate learning what I can do. My last option is to just go back to analogs. I actually hate the smell of analogs after 6 mos without them lol.

    Somewhere between here and there
I am not sure how strong the snus is that you are using but have you tried thunder berry or thunder frost. They are 16mg. Also, alot of the people that snus here also use nasal snuff. Perhaps that might give you the extra kick you need. I usually get a calm feeling from snus and not a kick. When I want a little pick me up then I use some snuff. I have not talked to anyone else that has gotten immune to snus. Good luck and I am sure a few of the other regulars will chime in soon.

Try some Thunder or Oden es another thing that may work is going los as it delervers quicker and stronger due to no tea bag. Snuff can delerver a quick spike that is even stronger than an analog anyways works for me, 6 months clean after 30 years of Pall mall at a pack and a half a day.

I read about snuff on here but it looked intimidating. I was worried it might make me sneeze it all out. Years ago snuff was like a fad and I tried using it but immediately had bad sneezing fits. So, I just dont know if I want to spend money on it if I cant use it but its great so many other people can.

Cigarettes certainly do contain more than nicotine as far as me being addicted. One month after I started vaping I was at 0 nic. But this awful draggy sick feeling made me go to 24mg then snus. One analog the other day, omg, I had not felt so relaxed in 6 mos. Yet I hate the smoke of analogs. And the friggin price. But I have felt like crap since a few weeks after I quit. I was stunned that the analog I smoked the other day did not cause throat, lung or nasal iritation, it felt like I hadnt stopped analogs for more than 6 minutes, not 6 months. It was almost creepy.

Umm I have analogs sitting here and just decanted a bunch of my collection..
Kendall brown, brunswick, hedges l260, O&G, apricot, best dark, and I was sniffing my messes.

Lets just say no craving and a double portion of Goteborg rape 1 and I am feeling no craving in fact may have gone a bit over the top in the nic department.

Cigs deliver the nic pretty quick. That's where a combination of smokeless products has it's place.

I still vape occasionally, strictly the meditative psychological aspect there. The visual of the vaper, the feel of it in the throat.

Some folks use a variety of dissolvables, I've not tried those.

Instead of a cig for a quick hit of nicotine I now have snuff. I use snus for the long term slow steady nicotine drip.

The sneezing is part of not appreciating how to take snuff. If you thought you might want to revisit snuff there are a lot of folks round here who have all recently learned of and embraced snuff as a part of their anti-smoke arsenal.

Plenty of help to be had and as many suggestions for what to try as there are participants in this part of ECF.

Rather than cave to cigs there are other routes to try.

Up to you Bellasin, ask and someone here will come a runnin'!

Yep I vape 5 and 6v at night only low nic for the relaxing ahh factor.

I have my horde of snuff that I abuse myself with, mainly the lighter more menthol and flavorful ones at work. I mainly smoke in the am for the morning prayer offering, and at work for do not fuss with me time.
Let me tell you the non smokers have it bad at work, they do not really get breaks and I just slip out for silence and sniff up a storm, normally a hardcore los prilla in my face.
