...that I did not find vaping years ago. 1 pack+/day smoker for 20 years and the lungs to match.

Started a couple of months ago with Blu, but their limitations really hampered my ability to completely stay away from analogs. Got the wife to use Blu as well (another 20+ year smoker) and she kicked analogs quickly. Finally got a Kanger Evod kit and am loving everything about it. Obtained some juice from VCV and a local B&M and it is a world of difference from the Blu cartos. Unfortunately, my wife just loves the Blu form factor and convenience, so I got some Boge 510 cartos and fill them for her, which she appreciates immensely. I am a tinkerer by nature, so I'm sure I'll be posing many questions in the days to come vis-a-vis mods, etc. Thanks in advance to all posters for the upcoming advice. Very friendly forum forum what I've seen.

Hello, Fortinbraz, welcome to ECF and to getting rid of cigarettes! Big congrats to both you and your wife!! Never thought I'd be able to quit after 47 years, but just a slightly more sophisticated system than cigalikes was all it took! Unbelievable, huh?!!

I tried literally everything to quit analogs before this: cold turkey, Chantix, Wellbutrin, patches, gum. Inevitably got on the cycle of chipping followed by chipping a bit more aaaaaaand back to a pack a day. I don't even have any desire to even chip an analog now. Now, I'm not hacking up tar every morning, can actually use my elliptical machine in a worthy manner and generally feel better than I have in years. My doctor was super happy to hear that I switched at my appointment last week. Simply wonderful.
