I chain vape while I drive. I know my clearo looks like {SOMETHING ELSE} and I see lots of funny looks from other drivers, and just ignore them.. but I'm anxious about it.. the cops here in PA are notorious for being (%($*%# on the best of days. This is also what might be the most draconic {EDIT} anti-drug state in the whole usa.. I'm wondering that when the day comes that a cop sees me vaping if they will drag my .... to jail to wait for the lab reports on my clove mix before they release me...

To make a point of how bad the cops are here, my wife was the victim of a hit-and-run, she pulled over, called the cops, they came, told her it was her fault for not avoiding it, refused to even write down the lic plate number she tried to give them (of the car that hit her), and then actually wrote her a citation for failing to yield. All that (presumably) because they were ...... about being called to come out and do their job.

I was driving to work one afternoon, I was sitting at a stop light, and a Florida HP was sitting right next to me waiting to turn left. I ignored and kept puffing on eRoll, and I heard him yelling, so I rolled down my window with eRoll hanging out of my mouth. He asked if it was one of them "NATURAL" cigarettes, and I told him "NO! Electronic." I pointed the brass bullseye in his direction, he asked me if it helped me quit smoking, I told him I have been on this a year and a half straight, he gave me a thumbs up, light turned green, and we went our separate ways. I usually refrain from vaping in traffic when cops are present when I have somewhere I need to be, otherwise I keep it out, and keep puffing when a cop approaches, so they know to boot there is no smell. I have gone through court security with my e cig in the basket with my phone and keys.

No, actually quite the opposite. I am in federal, state and county courthouses almost every week and go through the security screening. I vape openly but respectfully in these locations as well as most others. I can easily say that I have provided both police and sheriff's deputies more information on how to start vaping than any other group. I vape both a Darwin and Vamo and it's helps some that it looks nothing like an analog.

Most law enforecement personnel are aware of vaping and what it is. My advice is to vape openly but respectfully and the vast majority of the time you will have no problems.

I've not yet. Yet being the key term.

That said I've only been pulled over twice in the 6 years I've been driving & wasn't ticketed either time.

I make sure to not vape openly in front of officers just to save myself the headache of dealing with them.

I was standing out front of the Mexican restaurant on main street & the chief of police drove by while I was vaping my provari 18650 & AGA-T2. He gave me a goofy look, slack jawed I had the balls to do what he thought I was doing. Even stranger he just kept on driving.

I got pulled over a couple of times. Apparently I'm shady-looking.

First cop demanded an explanation and let me go with a ticket for window tints instead. Second cop asked for an explanation, ended up trying some DIY Black Honey Tobacco I made, and said he needed to buy one of these "asap". The second cop had no issues with my window tints.

Just went through a county court house security screening today. I ended up having 4 sheriffs deputies and one state policeman ask me to tell them about my Vamo and how well it worked. Two of them ask me to tell them where they could order one. One of them explaned to a newer deputy that it was just vapor from PG and that it is fine to vape it in the court house. I was really impressed with how knowlegible they were and interested.

Campus police so far have not said anything to me but they do look. It's not that common in Riverside compared to like Huntington Beach where I'm from it's 1000 users HB to 1 Riverside, honestly. I don't know if this is a coincidence though but I just started using my pv on campus, I got a bunch of other smokers students to start it and buy them and about one month after UCR said they're banning smoking on campus INCLUDING ELECTRONIC CIGARETTES on all campus. I'm graduating but that still makes me sad

Never been pulled over specifically for vaping, but cops, bouncers... etc. often ask me about the rig when I do come into contact with them. For the record I have a SB, which is big, shiny, and doesn't look anything like a cig or cig-style PV. What is interesting to me is that, though many of these figures were simply curious, some did have suspicions that I was holding a weapon or some kind of drug-related device... but I always say "oh, it's an e-cig", hold it up for a second, and the whole thing is done. I am surprised that these authorities, who are already suspicious, just believe me and forget about it. I suppose that is a good thing for me, but honestly with those suspicions I would expect a bit more investigation than just asking me.

I do whatever I can to avoid cop confrontation while driving. Regardless if cops know what it is you're using, it can still APPEAR to look like something else. Especially that can mod (but I admit, it's pretty bad ...)! When I'm in the car with my boyfriend, he always tells me not to use the e-cig, he thinks a cop will pull him over for thinking I'm smoking something else. Even if I can explain my way out of it, it's just better to avoid the entire situation. When I'm alone in my car, I'll vape but of course, I just put it down if cops are near. I would just rather not get pulled over and have to explain myself.

A cop pulled me over today (it being 4/20) and asked me what the device I was smoking with my windows down was. When I explained he gave me a look and proceeded to open my tank and smell my liquid. He didn't want to try it, he said it smelled like a fairy's ..... We laughed and he apologized for the trouble, saying he can't be too careful on 4/20.
