when I decided to try and quit smoking and use ecigs I tried to buy the most realistic looking ecig out there and flavored tobacco ejuice, those didn't work and what got me to quit was a flavor not even close to tobacco and used a device that doesn't resemble a cigarette at all. I never thought I would use a box mod let alone a mech mod (now I only use mech mods) because they looked nothing like a real cig, the cigalike I used I also got it in white with a red led so it looked more like the real thing

2012 - v2cigs, blu cigs, logic disaposables, the only flavor that I used that I can remember was v2cigs congress since it was supposed to be like a parliament.. yeah okay!!!

end of nov 2014 - decided to give ecigs one more go, picked up halo tritons with tribecca and within a week I was done with cigs
few weeks later I bought an mvp 2 and bought a ton of mt baker vapor juices, unfortunately I didn't like any of them and they are all in the PIF thread, I did like the gwar bloodbath but that ended shortly afterwards, then I got into mech mods

but yeah, every ejuice I used in 2014 that kept me away from real cigs was non tobacco flavors, I don't even want to try one that tastes like a tobacco anymore no matter how good it may be

p.s. I was just looking at my signature banner, damn, I would've smoked over 2000 cigs by now (2 months).. that's nuts!

Funny, I struggled like mad until I found Tribeca. Quit that day.

Tried to get back into it with various leftover juices, had success again with Tribeca.

I don't get into fruits, tarts, and (most) bakery things. Just don't care for those flavors, mostly. So tobacco, or something with tobacco notes, is perfect for me. Sure, not a lot in Tribeca, but enough. Some of my flavors have a lot more tobacco flavor. But an analog? Blech.

yea they say tribecca is a tobacco flavored juice but I don't taste it, I taste a caramel cotton candy and love it, I still vape it in the morning on my triton and will until I die unless I can vape I heaven/hell haha

I still have a unopened pack of Marlboro lights that I carry with me but I just hold onto it for some reason, I had 7 cartons in my stock, sold 6 and gave one to my brother in law, I don't feel bad about it because those people will NEVER quit smoking, they've made up their minds and all tried ecigs and went back to smoking, they think they ego, box mod, and mech mods are ridiculous, they saw me using them at work so

but yeah lets face it, there will always be smokers out there

If I knew then what I know now. . . I would have skipped several steps in my vaping journey. Hindsight is definitely 20/20. But I still have to say, that without those little cigalikes (Groupon's deal on Premium Starter Kit), I wouldn't be here either.

I look at my sign and all I can do is shake my head. I honestly didn't know I smoked at much as I did or spent as much either. And I definitely did not know they smelled as bad.

Cigalikes for me sucked never worked.
As a matter of fact the following didn't work: patch, gum, inhaler, welbutrian (prescript only and makes you wanna kill yourself), & BlueCig. Chantix did work but who can afford $200.00 plus a doctor's visit, plus gas getting to the doctor & the realistic dreams every night...
I started on Kanger tank eGo twist and stopped smoking within 3 days. Then of course came the upgrades lol but all in all glad i found what big tobacco company's are now calling "Open System" vaping.

Bought a cigalike a few years ago. Didn't do anything for me. Kept smoking. Got back into Vaping last year, though not for Nicotine Ecig purposes. Decided to quit smoking Cigs a few months later. This time I skipped the cigalike and Protank kit for my EGO battery. 8 month later, I'm 2 months w/o smoking and now running a Mech Mod with a Kick and a Kayfun.

I never tried the cig-alikes. I was around several others that vaped and they said the flavor is much better in a MOD/clearomizer. I started there. MVP2 and a SID.
