Hello Everyone! I am new to this forum and thanks in advance for any help, I know this post is somewhat redundant

After purchasing the Safe Cig, I am now looking for something “better”. It’s not that I am disappointed but I think the Safe Cig is better suited for a lighter (less than 1 pack a day) smoker. One thing I need to mention is the misrepresentation on their website. They boast that 1 cart equals 2 packs, but when you get the user’s manual it clearly states that the cart is equal to 15-20 cigs and after using it for several weeks I feel it’s more like 10 or less cigs. At a price of 12 something for 5 carts, it turns out to be more expensive than smoking tobacco. Some of the carts seem to work better than others also, sort of hit or miss. They did ship very quickly and the shipping is free each time.

Anyway, after reading threads and researching my head is spinning much like every other newbie. I have decided that I need to find an E-Cig that gives a strong throat-hit, creates large amounts of vapor and can be refilled. The battery life and cart size isn’t so important to me. It sounds like a manual battery might be the way to go.

So my question would be which one and where to buy.

I have never seen a product with so many options or are they the same with different packaging?

Thanks again and again and again J

Buy a 510 model from any of the suppliers listed in the supplier section on this forum.

Later, when you figure out what you REALLY want out of an electronic cigarette, you will have all the options available to you if you start with a 510 because just about everything possible is available for a 510 model.

For example, if you figure out later that battery life really IS important to you, then you can simply buy the batteries for the Ego and they will work with the 510 atomizers you already have.

I'm also a noob but I'll throw my $0.02 in anyway.... after consulting the pages of this forum, decided on a 510 as my 1st purchase. I am quite happy with the choice I made and now have a genuine Joye 510 and a generic version as well that I switch between as the batteries run out.

If I had more $ to spend, I would have picked up an eGo or 2 based on the opinions of it around here.

Good luck with your choosing and welcome to the forum.

Thanks everyone! I was leaning towards the 510 or eGo but wanted to make sure I hadn't missed anything and didn't want to make another mistake. Thanks Richie G, looks like a good price.

Make sure to check out the Riva (got mine from Arlo, not the cheapest, but good customer service so far). Ego clone with bigger batteries, I'm estatic with mine so far.

Look at cartomizers and filling blanks with your own purchased or made liquids for a better experience and the ability to customize flavors (my current favorite is Vaporbomb.com's cinnabomb mixed 50/50 with their watermelon)

As far a the throat hit, etc.... from what I've heard the juice makes a HUGE difference in that.
You'll have to experiment with the juice blends and find what's right for you. 100%PG appears to have a bigger throat hit, but less vapor. 100% VG has tons of vapor, but less of a throat hit. I use a 80%PG/20%VG personally cause I like the throat hit, but as I'm off cigarettes longer and longer, I'm actually looking to move to a 60/40 for a smoother experience.

Basically, up to what you like, but keep trying things and looking around till you find what suits you.

So I ordered the JoyE 510 (in pink) starter kit with manual battery from Route66Vapor.com last Thursday and since they are in the same state as me I received it the next day. The cost with shipping was $51.00 and so far I love this model. It suites me perfectly and I found that a sunglass case holds everything very nicely also.

I definitely recommend the JoyE 510 and thanks to everyone for the advise.

Route66Vapor offers the juice for $7 - 10ml
