Hey all, I think I am talking my husband into trying vaping. I think I have a PV lined up for him, and want to get him some juice samples to have all set.
I have a small JC Tennessee Cured and JC original ..... what else is good? He smokes reds .... whatever brand he gets on base.
The best tobacco flavors I've found have been at backwoods brew(Backwoods Brew). Don't be afraid to have him try some not-so-manly juices though. I(like many others) started off with tobacco flavors but quickly switched to other types of flavors, although I'm still manly...maybe. I have had the experience of turning off the welder I was using, picking up my PV, and then having to answer "What are you smoking today?" with "umm...sex on the beach." The other guy at my shop who vapes is now hooked on blueberry. For good manly flavors to start with though, I'd look at Backwoods Brew.
Yeah i smokes Marl for very long time and the strikes , camels, and did roll my owns as well .
The 555 does not taste like Marl but its my only vape since quitting 6 months back.
Course were all different so with that being said he may like it or hate it im just saying whats working for me.
Best Luck and hope things work out for him.
i tryed the tobaccos and didn't like them i was a 1 1/2 pad red smoker. my fav is banana nut bread and popcorn
so i would make sure he has some driffent flavors to try
TW
Yes! I just got him a GLV2 .... and I have a GLV3 Mini coming. We'll be soo cute together!
I want to have a few on hand so he is less likely to balk. Oh, also, what ohm cartos and stuff do you use for 5v? Around 2.5 to 3.5? I am a 3.7 girl .....
BWB RY4 . Tastes like a really high quality cigar . I wouldnt go searching for something like a analog because you wont find anything really that comes close . I think everyone tried when they started but are now vaping fruits and bakery juices lol .
3ohm Boge cartos at 5v have been my favorite. GLV 5 volt mods will adjust to anything you put on them...it's like magic. But yeah, give those Boges a shot, they're great at 5 and 6v.
Thats one i would like to try but that Vapor station frisco , as an ex 2 pad marl fan boy for almost 40 years i just cannot stomach fruits and dessert type of juices but i cant kncok em as my wife enjoys them now.
That cranky ole gal by the way got me good today i got in a tank order and was home for a bit then saw my order upstairs on the table and she never mentioned it to me.
Ahh but payback will be forthcoming when she gets an order shipped.
I've been reading the 2011 Best Juice thread ... and went to look at Bounty Hunter, but I guess I'll have to TRY and catch it while it's in stock. I looked at Copper Creek .... I was going to get the tobacco sampler but it said it was only available in 12mg. That won't be high enough .... Backwards Brew doesn't have a sampler pack.
I'll look around and see what I can find ....
Thanks - oh, I have some Boges that are SR ... I think that means 2.7? Would they work?
Don't forget a couple of attys for dripping - easier to try out juices that way. If he likes tobacco, I can't recommend Goodejuice House Brewed lineup highly enough. This stuff tastes like real tobacco in many variations. There is even one that tastes exactly like the smell of a newly opened expensive cigarette pack (that one weirded me out completely... lol).
Just because it has a fruity name doesn't mean he's not manly. When I go to the local store there are 3 guys there that vape Honeysuckle. They love it. Personally I like my strawberry daquiri and I just purchase apple cinnamon and blueberry waffle. I hate the tobacco flavors and yes I'm female LOL
I think my husband would feel a little more comfortable at first with tobacco flavors. I could say "here honey, try this...." and hit him with the Frosted Cinnamon Bun after a couple of weeks.
I just got a sample of totally wickeds pilbox, and its actually a pretty authentic tobacco. Smoky and light, it reminded me of what my grandfather smoked. Might be worth a look.
While not a very "manly" name, Vermillion River's Malibu Pineapple is a "keeper" IMHO. Certainly not a tobacco flavor but its what steered me away from them.
