I would look at a mini Nautilus (with the new BVC's) or Protank 2 with air control valve. The problem with an Aerotank is it takes dual coils. I didn't care for running those on my MVP v2.

If they have the new MVP 20 watt, I would get that vs the MVP v2 (price dependent). Their prices on the MVP v2 seem high. I have seen them at $35.00 online. Hopefully they are lower at your store given the MVP 20 watt has been release.

^^the Protanks have the single coil but unless you drill them out (and a drilled out air control flow valve is even better) more air, more vapor. The aerotank has dual coils (so does the aerotank V2 and I love 'em) some say it's "more harsh" more "throat hit" but honestly not a heck of a lot of difference, in price and vapor imo other than with single coils batteries last longer and eat less juice.

Pardon my noob, but...why not just an Aerotank, then? Isn't that basically the same thing? Why go the "Frankenstein" route when you can just get it all rolled up in one?

Ginny's answer is good, but I would add that the PT2 with the single coils are much cheaper in the long run for an equally performing unit. Authentic Kanger single coils are less than a dollar a piece if you buy in boxes of 50 (I just picked up a box for $40.17 shipped) and they last around a week with frequent usage. Additionally, a PT 2 will cost you around $10.00 - $12.00 and $5.00 for the Kanger airflow control valve, that's $15.00-$17.00 instead of$25.00 for the Aerotank. And as Ginny points out, it burns less juice while producing an equivalent amount of vapor. Trust me, I've been using them together since the first Aerotank was released, and it's not worth the extra money.
