It's not a right to do anything on property that belongs to someone else. I thought I saw a thread saying Walmart did not allow the use of electronic cigs, but I may be confusing my stores. In any event, if pressed to make a decision, I think most large chains will come down against vaping, afraid customers will confuse it with smoking.

I do not believe they merged. They opened the Wal-Marts (or so I thought, maybe I'm wrong).
Sears opened K-mart.

Walgreens started and the corp HQ is in Illinois.

WalMart was started by a guy named Sam in Arkansas they did start Sam's Club.

Sears bought KMart a few years ago. (Sears also purchased an auto parts chain and Lands End too, but at different times.)

Odd bits of business history from a Hoosier.

I can take you to the remains of a factory that made concrete boats for WWII and continue the history tour if you'd like. (Tour part is a joke, the concrete boat factory is true though.)

:grr: It's not right to take away all of our rights because of ignorance either!
That's why we must educate people, not just keep quiet.
The more that people hear about the e-cigs, the better because:

The more that people understand about the e-cigs, the better chance that someone else might start vaping, like it, and stop smoking tobacco.
Just like me!
Three days of vaping, I stopped smoking after MANY years of 2 packs of Marlboro lights a day! I was a mess!
I want everyone to understand the advantages of vaping; I need help to spread the word!

:2cool:

P.S.
I am not advocating arguing with the people in the store; I am saying to call corporate headquarters!
The more calls they get, the better!

just to make sure we understand your stance here.

You wouldn't mind if I came into your property and exercised my second amendment to the US bill of rights there?

If not how are your property rights different from Joe who owns the Burger King down the road?

Stealth vaping is an art form. I've vaped in Walmart many times and never had a word said about it. I've never had a cop even look twice, but I'm out mostly in the day time when shopping for something. At night, I guess the LED is a giveaway.

I wish that our state would pass a law prohibiting cell phone conversations while driving. Texting while driving is against the law now. Maybe next year. Most of the time when someone almost pulls out in front of me, their left eye is blocked by a cell phone. A hands free law would help.

That factory sounds pretty cool, best I've got is the old A-10 plant and what's left of the boneyard. Still a pretty cool place to visit though, but I don't think its technically open to the public anymore...nothin a little fence hoppin can't fix though.

Nope, just want to know if there is a consistent reasoning behind the idea of fighting the owner of a property to do something on the property that the owner has asked you not to do. We were talking about a Wal-mart and vaping inside one and some one was mildly hassled about it. You indicated that the response should have been to do it anyway because of something about war.

I own, carry, and use firearms, but I don't go on private property and avail myself of those rights unless I have permission. If I want others to respect my rights, I have to be willing to respect their's. (My 2nd amendment rights to their property rights.)

I was wonder how this is different from vaping? It is an interesting argument, yes? Firearms are part of the US bill of rights, PV's are not, but maybe they should be?

I realize that Wal-Mart employees did not attack you (physically) but your rights were taken away without reason.
Wal-Mart is a Walgreen's super store, Walgreens sells Blu disposables.
Corporate would frown upon what happened and be sure not to let it happen again! It is a step for all of our rights!
 My point is that we need to take a stand, or we'll be outside in the cold with the tobacco smokers to vape!
There are lots of small skirmishes and battles to win a war!
    IT IS A WAR!
All of our rights are disappearing, and if we do nothing they will be gone.
    :glug:

However, at what point does common courtesy have a roll in all this?

If I was to say you can't vape in my house ..... then you Can't vape in my house!
I would also have every "right" to help you find the door.

Oh, man! I love A-10's! Best part of being close to a Warthog squad was getting to see live fire exercises. What an amazing machine!

The concrete boat factory near me is really ugly and has been run down since the 70's, so there isn't much left that is interesting besides the thought of troops running around in concrete boats.

Walgreens = Wal-Mart? Who is the drunk one?

    Okay,
So I said maybe I was wrong.
That leaves you with illiterate or just like to argue! Or both!

I'm not asking which because: Motivator - No One Cares.jpg

Your house is not a public place, and I did not say to argue, I said to give corporate a call!

    If the shoe fits...

Of course my shoes fit, what does that have to do with anything on this thread? Are you even noticing what is going on here?

Do you think rkelly and Hoosier are the same people? How about the others in this thread? Are they all me to you too? Have you even considered the question at hand?
