WalMart is not a public place by US law either. That is the point.

WalMart is a public place, in that the public go there, it is a STORE!
I really think that the point is on top of your head!
And yes, just as I thought, that IS YOUR SHOE!
Now, I have more interesting things to do than to continue to argue with you!
You seem to be an advocate of ignorance; so again,
as to regarding your opinion, I have more interesting things to do than to argue with you!
I made a statement, and we do not agree.
This is still a free country, and I have every bit as much right to state my opinion as you do.

Walmart is either the owner or lessor of their store's. They have the right to allow or disallow in their store anything they want to as long as it does not break a law.
Walmart sells guns, but I don't think they will allow someone to shoot one in there after they have bought it. They have fishing gear, but I don't think they will let you try to hook a customer. They sell bras and underwear, but I think they would ask you to put something over them before you walk through the store.
Chill out lady. Personally, I would not be comfortable vaping in a Walmart.

:grr: It's not right to take away all of our rights because of ignorance either!
That's why we must educate people, not just keep quiet.
The more that people hear about the e-cigs, the better because:

The more that people understand about the e-cigs, the better chance that someone else might start vaping, like it, and stop smoking tobacco.
Just like me!
Three days of vaping, I stopped smoking after MANY years of 2 packs of Marlboro lights a day! I was a mess!
I want everyone to understand the advantages of vaping; I need help to spread the word!

:2cool:

P.S.
I am not advocating arguing with the people in the store; I am saying to call corporate headquarters!
The more calls they get, the better!

Has this thread degenerated far enough to be considered de-railed?

If so, the discussion is now about R.Kelly and his relationship to concrete boats and A-10 Warthogs.

My daddy was an engineer for the Burlington Norther RR and a Pearl Harbor Survivor, who fought for our rights.

I agree that this thread was derailed, but it was not I who derailed it.

Let's talk about boats!: scan0134.jpgSmall Web Size Favorite.jpg

This was a funny story until mg hijacked it. You handled it well & appropriately. I read on this site once that someone from either NY or CT was arrested. They were stopped because the officer thought it was a phone, but arrested because it was still an electronic device. They were released.

so i was driving the other day, vaping away on my AA box mod when out of nowhere i see flashing lights behind me. i pull over and the officer says that he saw me holding my cell phone in my hand (illegal in my state). i then proceed to explain to him in a very calm manor that it was not my cellphone and it was an electronic cigarette. im pretty sure i confused the hell out of him but i drove off without a ticket! needless to say, the box mod stays at home now.

has anyone else been in a situation like this???

Yes, they have the right!
Your examples are going a bit off of the deep end here.
:glug:
I am saying to stop the ignorance, which obviously is going to be a bigger battle than I previously thought!
Yes, let's all just sit in front of the TV, put our feet up and drink beer until we have no rights to do anything else!
Great!

Whoa wtf really. *Gets on the Rail* Me being from CT myself, that has me a little concerned. I mean, i feel much much safer vaping an electronic then I ever did a flaming analog while driving. No littering either when that hot .... which may burn something flew out the window. I am glad that people are getting pulled over for cell phone use though. It seems like they never are when I am out and about. Always see a jerk not paying attention, swerving like hell, gabbing away on his/her damn phone. How I'd like to hop in their cars steal their phones and joyfully stomp on them for putting everyone's safety around them at risk. The only bad part is SOME cops in CT seem to just be determined to "get ya" when they pull you over. No mercy if you've never even once had a traffic violation and admit you where having a panic attack... true story happened to me. I was a blubbering crying mess, apologetic, was having sugary that week, just found out my car was a death trap, still got hit with a 137$ fine. Assmunch porker. I hope karma spanked that piglet.

I didn't hi-jack anything!
I made a statement that was taken up by others to a ridiculous level of a Federal case!
I am finished with this argument, which I did not choose to start!
I have some studying to do now, something more important than all of this, called a higher education!

Nope, just want to know if there is a consistent reasoning behind the idea of fighting the owner of a property to do something on the property that the owner has asked you not to do. We were talking about a Wal-mart and vaping inside one and some one was mildly hassled about it. You indicated that the response should have been to do it anyway because of something about war.

I own, carry, and use firearms, but I don't go on private property and avail myself of those rights unless I have permission. If I want others to respect my rights, I have to be willing to respect their's. (My 2nd amendment rights to their property rights.)

I was wonder how this is different from vaping? It is an interesting argument, yes? Firearms are part of the US bill of rights, PV's are not, but maybe they should be?

Are you in need of reading glasses?
I did not anywhere, ever, indicate to do it anyway!
Go back and re-read what I said, if possible!
We're done here!
I said that before too, obviously you overlooked that while totally misconstruing what I did write.

Meant to say it is not public property, it is private property. Yes, it is a public place, but it is still private property.

And, yes, we have different views on the matter of the rights of the person who owns a property.

Actually, no we do not have different views on the matter of the rights of the person who owns a property.
That's why I said not to argue, but to call corporate.
They care about what their customers want and think, as they must as a business.
Now, hopefully, we are done!

Sheesh!
