Picked up a cobra clone this past week to see what the rba scene is all about. I am a tank guy, but had to see if this was something to be interested in. When I received it, I tore it apart to get an idea of how these things are put together. Mind you, I am not a mechanically inclined guy. I have since put it back together twice and vaped twice...all seems to be working correctly. 2.1-2.2 ohm readings, no "hot spots"...but then again, what do I know? First impressions...less vapor than I'm used to, and I know taste is subjective, but although it's a very clean vape, it does have a slight metallic taste to it? Anyway, just wanted to see if any feedback shows I'm heading in the right direction to learn. Obviously I am well aware I've barely scratched the surface...don't even know if I will be capable of rolling ss mesh and investigating all of the different wire/options out there?!?!

Better resistance to 1.5-1.7 ohms.
Air holes should be in front of the spiral.
The lower end of SS wick should be raised slightly above the ground.
If correct, then there must be something like
