so how the heck do people do 7.4v?

I gave it a try for the heck of it with my catromizer, and it was nasty.
IT was very metal tasting. Much like when I tried 6v with a normal atty and cart. There something spcial I need to try this?

A high resistance atomizer.

5.2ohms would make it right, though there are the chosen few diehards out there that vape 7.4 without one.

Then again, if Quovadis stops by he'll learn ya on his way of vaping which is I believe upwards of 8v.

you might try a high voltage atty for that type of vaping its alot nicer to you lawnman3

Those would be decent for 6v, but you're pushing 17 watts at 7.4 which is well outside the 8-12 watt comfort zone.

Check out some of the Atty's @ Ikenvape.com Iken has a new line of Atty's that are some Kich &ss Atty's and carry's XHV for 7.4 that will make your taste buds scream much more than just a regular HV Atty, and dont buy a 4.5ohm Atty for 7.4 make sure you get at least a 5.2 Resistance for the 7.4

I am not sure, don't even want to try. I vape everything these days at 6 and prefer nothing less. I knew I crossed the line when I started back with my halo and at 6 volts.
It's all about the throat hit for me I guess.

Funny thing, a few weeks ago, I took a drag off a cig. Just one but it was like smoking air (nasty putrid air, but no hit feeling at all) I see a huge problem if for some reason I would ever have to quit vaping.

I can't imagine getting hooked at any higher, there would be no turning back! LOL!

He doesn't have them in a 510 version. You should really try his XHV 801 5.2 atty. It is simply unbelievable at 7.4V! That atty is the reason why I converted to penstyle atties. His 510 3.5 is just pure bliss at 6V, IMO.

Nhaler used to carry the 5.2ohm 510 atomizer. Not sure if anyone else carries them now.
