About 6 months ago i purchased a dse901 from puresmoker and got some really good use out of my 3 atomizers for 3 or 4 months. I then started getting that burnt taste and slowly crawled back to analog cigs..... ugh. I am smoking way less now but liked it so much more when i wasnt. I am now in the market for a more reliable/better ecig. (the batteries for my 901 sucked)

The 2 i am looking at are the janty mini fogger and of course the joye 510 but i cannot seem to find a comparison. The only thing ive seen is that you can use the 501's battery on the MF which is nice. I will probably ending up getting both for that reason but i wanted to see what kind of input yall had.

Thanks in advance ~ Ryan

I am a noob at this so take everything I say with a grain of salt, but unless you only drag once per minute the 510 battery is a nightmare (for me). If you have a USB passthru for your 510 you don't have to dork around with batteries nearly as much and that's kept me from going completely loopy.

If you're looking for battery life don't look at the 510.

The PCC that works with the 510 is nice and definitely a necessity considering the short battery life of the 510. But I agree with ..... If you are willing to spend the money on two PV's why not get the best that's out there: Prodigy from puresmoker, Screwdriver, Janty Stick, etc. You get very long battery life plus the batteries cost $2 instead of $13-$20.

hmmm.... i definitely liked the whole vaping thing but i was unimpressed with the atomizer for the 901 as well. Possibly the throat hit that decreased? I dont really remember. Also the battery life doesnt bother me too much, i could get my crappy 901 batt to last a half a day and sometimes a whole day.... i guess i dont puff as much as everyone else. Any thoughts on the mini Fogger??

I know if you buy a GG there is a whole thread that do nothing but stroke each other off talking about how great they are, so that comes with it, which is kinda nice. lol I'm out of juice and edgy. scarcasm seems to elevate me if only so slightly.

My sig is a lie I've smoked 8 cigs in the past 2 days they all taste horible. Only about 2 ml left saving that for after dinner.

A real important question is at what voltage the OP wants to vape at. The Screwdriver and AdapteveR are running long runtime 3.7 volt batteries; similar in voltage to a 901 or 510. If throat hit and vapor production was not satsfactory on the 901, then a Prodigy might be the way to go running at 5 volts. Unfortunately, anything running 6 volts is either in development or out of stock (AdapteveR, GG, Zi Moshi, Silver Bullit from AltSmoke).

Seems the knocks against the 510 batts is it unfairly throws the manuals out with the automatic's bathwater and does not take into consideration the PCC which does make the manual batteried 510's worth a loong look. Drip away and never kill a battery.

If you liked the 901 have you thought about the many available battery based options that use the 901 atomizers? The main downfall of the 901 is the battery life. which all of these cure?

screwdriver

adaptever

gg

prodigy

etc

etc
What is Adaptever? Never heard of it before. Thanks.

I have had no problems with my 510 batts either. 2 batts and a charger,,I've yet to be high and dry(although I carry 2 more just in case)

hahaha... i dont even know what a gg is.... and i guess it wasnt necessarily the throat hit... maybe just that burnt taste from the atomizer. Still no input on the mini fogger? because its between that and the 510 with the pcc

thanks again

The 510 is a very well reviewed PV and I do recommend it. But it can't compare IMO to Prodigy or Screwdriver. Both give as good and probably better throat hit, have batteries that last 5-8 hours and what is very significant to me is the low cost of the batteries. Over a years time I will pay for the PD or SD in $2 batteries in comparison to the $13-$20 you pay for the 510 batteries.
