So I bought an ego c twist today at my local store...

That's a good setup, and one of my go-to combinations for quick setup.

If you like the Vision eGo Clearomizers, you may want to take a look at the Vision products that have replaceable heads, such as the Vivi Nova, which has two different tank sizes. The smaller compares well with the Vision eGo Clearomizer, while the bigger one is a bit awkward and heavy (though it's what I use the most.)

Vision also has a version of it's eGo Clearomizers that unscrew and have very similar replaceable heads. I know that GotVapes has all of these, but other vendors also have some of those.

I make my own juice, but I the best that I have bought was Johnson Creek.

Agree with Lucent... That's a good setup...

I'm also liking these:

5pc eGo 2.4ml CC (Coil Changable) clear cartomizer / clearomizer - 510/eGo Cartomizer Heaven Gifts

9c5946f4fb5d7626.jpg

The coil (next to the mouthpiece above) screws into the center piece, easy to change and it comes in 1.5, 1.8, 2.2, and 2.5 ohms. The 5 pack comes with 1.8Ω and you can get a 5 pack of the other ohms for $4.50 - that's less than a buck a piece for a new screw in coil - no tools necessary ;) And they come in short wick:

5pc Coil unit for CC (Coil Changable) clear cartomizer / clearomizer - 510/eGo Cartomizer Heaven Gifts

Or long wick:

Long Wick 5pc Coil unit for CC (Coil Changable) clear cartomizer / clearomizer - 510/eGo Cartomizer Heaven Gifts

This one is 2.5ml but they have the 'stardust' size in 1.6ml too - more cone shaped at the top.

I like the draw on these better than the tighter draw of the vision stardust. The flavor on these are a bit better than the eGo-c for some flavors. And depending on flavor - you can run the Twist at @4v for the lower ohms, and at 4.8V on the 2.5Ω coil.

Do you mean the vivi nova?

Yes, he meant the Vivi Nova, they've also came out with a Mini Viva Nova recently which looks great on a Ego, same diameter and holds around 2ml. If you don't need the extra capacity I think the Mini is a better fit for the Ego, both work great though.

Yes. Thanks Underwhelmed! lol.. I guess that IS the eGo version of the mini vivi nova.... I have one  I just got 're-interested' in these (CE2 types) after seeing and getting the CC carto from heaven gifts - very similar without the total rebuild idea but just the changeable coil. Although now they have long wicks as well for the CC.

I can totally relate.

I love a fresh CE3 bottom coil, so I tried a Kanger T0 bottom coil hoping it would be as tasty and have more juice capacity.

They only take a tiny bit more juice and the flavor is totally muted, so it was a swing and a miss for me with those.

Glad I only bought one to try.

Discountvapers also has a mini vivi nova clone called the Thor wich can also use the vivi nova heads.

Thor Clearomizers

The idea of CE is what started all this - it just took such a long time but I think it's 'there' now. I'm getting better vapor and flavor from the CC's right now. The stardust is good though - solid build but a bit of a tighter draw - sometimes I like that though. So far I haven't felt the need to tweak the draw, so it's not that bad. I think there's a video on it I saw. I'll have to look that up again :) The original CC's had a bad mouthpiece - now fixed.

I like the Vivi Nova on my Twist 650mAh. I've used it on a friend's 1000mAh Twist and I find it a bit unwieldy (the 1000 battery). But the Nova on the 650 sits in my hand and pocket just fine. I'd never sit it upright on a table with just it……seems like it'd be too apt to fall over……but that'd also give the wicks more of an opportunity to dry out.

The vivi nova heads seem to take a day or two to break in…but then they're good for about a week (for me). And the flavor is better than smoktech cartos……similar to boges, I think, but I haven't used the same juice in both yet.

Couple of things. First, what's the difference between the vivi nova and these guys?

Second, I'm not a huge menthol fan, but I do enjoy minty flavors from time to time. Best one I've tried so far is the Extreme Ice from MtBakerVapor. Wicked tasty, and seems to burn really clean for me so far. Stuff blows my hair back at 24mg a bit.
