Is this common? It was one of the "Cherry vape Dream Ming Tips" and I really liked it a lot (not stainless steal).

Does anyone know if there are hand blown glass drip tips out there?

I haven't broken one yet since the only ones I use are the cheap plastic ones that come with my tank. Any advantages with using a glass vs. plastic?

None in particular, except for what Ocelot pointed out about certain flavors being able to melt plastic or acrylic tips.

I prefer pyrex glass over any other material because of how it feels on my lips. It just feels better than metal, ceramic, or acrylic. Some people say that they can taste a metalic taste from using a metal drip tip; I can't, but I "feel" the difference of materials on my lips and tongue, and I know that I don't like metal.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and in my eyes the glass tips done by the high end manufacturers are not only functional but beautiful works of art. Many are unique, one-of-a-kind creations. They are a fun thing to collect if you have the resources.

Really? Generous policy but too late for me because I just severed the last of my 4 pawn tips two days ago by dropping it and garbage has already been taken away.

The Universals and Cannons seem to be able to take a fall, but the pawns snap off above the O-ring with just one drop. I am always relieved the atty survives. I think I'll stick with the less expensive Delrins from now on.

I got mine from Cherry Vapes also. Mine broke a day after I bought it. I got it in Delrin and I dropped it, snapped right off at the base. It was nice while it lasted though. Check out trippy tips, if your looking to pay like... $40. I don't know if they're hand blow though. I got a couple of ceramic ones and they're pretty nice. I ordered them from Vaperfexion. They have them in Ming and Hourglass shapes.

I have two bds60s and a bds90, last drip tips I'll ever need or want. Never worry about breaking them. Captivape.com has the 90s but the 60s were a limited release. I hear there's another batch of the 60s coming soon though
