I do find it funny how when people switch from Analogs to Digitals we think we should have all these new entitlements, as if we get this big pat on the back and gee whiz that means we should vape in the office, in the theatre, while having sex et al. That cracks me up.

Why shouldn't vapers feel as though they're entitled to vape in those circumstances? Sometimes I think that vapers are their own worst enemies. vaping and smoking are two entirely different things. One is a danger to people in the immediate vicinity, which was the basis for the smoking bans. The other, vaping, is NOT a danger to bystanders. Therefore, there should be no problem but of course there is because people are self-righteous and stupid sometimes... and we don't fight back because some of us consider vaping to be an "entitlement" when it simply is what it is.

And it cracks me up that people think it's an entitlement to vape. It's not an entitlement to chew gum or drink a soda or have bad breath or an endless list of other things but, vaping is an entitlement. Implicit in your statement is the attitude that it's normal to be restricted and that the lack of restrictions is an entitlement. For many of us, the lack of restrictions is called freedom.

Can we please avoid the right to vape argument that's about to ensue. I just wanted let people know the official word from Starbucks. It's their business. No different than no shoes, no shirt, no......

I wish they would reconsider of course, since it is NOT smoking It would be nice to get some corporate giants on our side though.....but then the media will get involved...the other side will roar...and then the govt. will get involved.....perhaps. it's better this way lol

After a few back and forth emails, this was the end result.....unfortunate but...

Last year there was a huge thread on SB and vaping. Same results...

And to think that a cup of coffee and a cigarette or two was a natural combination years ago. My buddies and I met at the Waffle House at times during the work day because they were the last to outlaw smoking once the laws began to proliferate.

It was easier to stealth vape with my eGo than it is these days with a Provari, but mostly when I get caught, they just want to know what it is and how it works, not to keep me from using it. One waitress in a restaurant told me it looked like a Men in Black memory eraser. I checked and it does!

I gave her some links to ECF and a couple of links to in-state suppliers and explained how it worked. She came back in a few minutes and told me her boss was interested, so I went through the demo again.

There's always stealth vaping ;)

Sometimes on stressful days at work, I sneak into the ladies room and grab a quick puff or two!! I keep a disposable NJoy in my pocket for this but I'm looking into the eGo mini or something similar. I have the eGo CE4 as my first e-cig... if you have any suggestions on stealth vaping I'm all ears!!!

Yet, I see enough posts by people who vape who are having newborns and either stop vaping in the house, and/or inside their new baby's room, vicinity of baby, etc.

Can somebody point me to the research if there is any? Seems like even people who vape are somewhat not sure about the effects on bystanders. This might be a good place to link to any studies etc. that we should know about.
