You can get even lower melting temperature with Sn62/Pb36/Ag2. It's eutectic and the melting point is 179C compared to 183C for Sn63/Pb37. I use 63/37 wire for hand soldering, but I'm thinking of going with a 62/36/2 paste for reflow soldering. I haven't tried 62/36/2 wire solder. I still have a lot of 63/37 wire solder on-hand I'm going to use it up first. Any kind of quality solder is expensive.
