My original kit comprised of an Evod atomiser/cartomiser/bottom coil thingy and an Ego C twist.
So I got my backup of a second Evod and an Ego T and 2 Kanger Mini Protank 2's.

So being really quite impressed with the vape of the Protank 2's and them being the tank of choice over the Evod to vape with I thought that having dipped my toes and saving £60GBP I lurked here and watched plenty of youtube vids about vaping and mods thinking I should invest in a home vape device and keep the Ego's for the daily vape whilst out and about at work.

This is what I ordered last night from FT:
$71.00 Authentic Innokin VTR Variable Voltage/Wattage E-Cigarette Starter Kit - army green at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
$6.78 IGO-W Style Rebuildable Dripping Atomizer at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
$3.43 Vase Style Acrylic 510 Drip Tips (6-Pack) 6-pack at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
$2.28 Pre-made Wires and Wicks for Atomizer (50-Pack) 50-pack - 33 AWG / 1.8ohm / 4-wick at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

All paid for out the money I would have spent on fags.
I originally didn't like the 'box' mod style but, having thought it can do whatever I need it to do and watching the vids it grew on me.
I checked the 18650 battery's I have for my LED torch and they are the Ultrafire protected so I didn't order new on them.
I didn't want a RDA but it was cheap and thought lets give it a go for trying out different juices whilst sat on the sofa.
I could build the coils but at that price for 50 I just thought 'is it really worth the effort' for the first time trying an RDA?
I was going stainless steel for the drip tip but couldn't decide so went with the acrylic as they had good reviews.

Now, on some of the youtube vids using the extension for using other tanks/RDA on the VTR they were saying its too tall. I then saw the comparison next to the Innokin i34 and the height was still less so thought what the hell lol.

So the money I saved paid for the lot. Hopefully I chose well :vapor:

You've clearly benefited from doing your homework.

The VTR is a solid device (I mean... really solid... and heavy). Your skinny tanks will fit in it fine, the dripper you'll probably want to mount on the included extension (dripping down through the tank housing would be a pain).

Nice that you've got a cheap supply of coils, but to make that IGO really rock, you should think about building your own. It's not very hard - just take your time to learn (while you rock those premade coils). You'll have more control over the vape and it will ultimately be even cheaper.

When I first started vaping I also didn't care for the box mods like yourself, but they grow on you & now I've just got to get me a VTR. Will be getting one soon for a backup, good excuse as any:p. That's a pretty good list you put together but you should really try building your own coils, plenty of info here & on youtube. Be safe & have fun.:vapor:

Looks good

BUT,

I would get a different battery ie: AW, efest, Panasonic, Sony, really just about any battery other than a battery with "fire" in its name as it seems like none of those are a high drain battery and do not have the amperage to handle vaping. Also the protected batteries may not fit as they are longer than the unprotected "safe" chemistry batteries

As others have said, nice choices and have fun!

You might find that you like the acrylic drip tips much more than the stainless. Although I love stainless in principle, I've found that as a drip tip they can make the vape feel very cold.

(I would have had to toss in a couple extra mini protanks, but that's just me ;-)

Still no vape mail...................:(

It'll take longer than this :) Usualy a month.
As the batteries they'll take even longer as they're shipped to sweden or something similar first, then shipped away to US.
(I read this on FT forums) We allow batteries for some reason, i've not read up into that much as i'm buying batteries locally.
