and decided to do some prelim stuff to do a cosmetic mod on the man XL pink freebie i got (since i'm not a pink fan *so* much, i figured it was a sign i should start 'sperimentin with some ideas).
but i decided step #1 would be to sand off the pink just so's i wouldn't have to worry about covering it completely, depending on which idea i went with, and only had a course grain sandpaper handy (i.e. i am not going out in below freezing weather at 2 AM in my jammies to dig for sandpaper in the back building).
and now i have a gorgeous, shiny, 'brushed' metal manual XL. guess that cosmetic mod idea will hafta wait. i think i like this better than the chrome (which i hadn't ordered yet, actually).
course i miss the V4L logo...
