Good decision!

I can't tell you the best, only what I have that worked for me. I have the joye ego and I quit analogs (cigs) using that. You can get a similiar model called the Riva at liberty flights for $30.

Electronic Cigarette - Starter Kits - Riva 510

Click the 20% off button on the top.

There are tons of great pvs out there. I recommend this one because it's fairly inexpensive and you don't really know if you're going to like vaping. It's easy to use and reliable and you get a good vape with it. Once you know if this works for you, you may want to try a different pv or stick with this.

It's sure cheaper than patches or gum and it works!

Juice is the key. Freedom Smokes USA is a good place to start, they have tons of juices at all nicotine levels. Try small sampler sizes until you know what you like. Makes sure to have at least 30 ml on hand so you don't run out.

Good luck!

Okay first, there is only liquid there is no solid. What you are perceiving as solid are cartomizers pre-filled with liquid. Most people don't like those.

A short lesson, that Riva 510, which I also recommend, comes with atomizers (a heating element) and separate refillable cartridges. Cartomizers are just the cartridge and atomizer in one piece. You can get cartomizers to fit that kit and I recommend that you do (Boge 510s not LR) to see if you like that system better. Get blank ones though and fill them with your own juice. You might as well pick up a drip tip. They're cheap. Poke around and you'll see how to use them.

The go-go is intriguing but, you have what is really a very high capacity cartomizer on a high capacity battery. No muss, no fuss that is unless you happen to fill it with something that tastes bad or is the wrong nic level for you. Then you're stuck either vaping something you don't like or tossing a fairly high priced cartomizer with a pile of juice in it. I've had my nic needs change and diluted juice for that reason. If I had 3ml of that juice in a go-go, I would have had to toss the cart and the juice.

You haven't found a juice you like. You haven't found what nic level you need. Do that, then look at the go-go. For now get the Riva kit and juice in a variety of flavors and nic levels. Try carts and atomizers and the drip tip. Do this for a few weeks. You might be surprised to find as I did that you don't want a really high nic level for very long. Once you've stabilized with a few juices you like and your nic level is settled, then it's time to look at high capacity systems like the go-go.

Go with the Riva - you need that kind of ecig to have enough battery power to support a 2-3 PAD habit. It will also let you use the harder-hitting hotter low resistance parts which cannot be used on a slim ecig.
Look at the lite bundle at Liberty-Flights.com

If you feel you much have something slimmer, look at Vapor4Life w/ standard manual batteries. It's one of the warmer hitting slim models.

I am a big ego/riva fan. For a 2-3 pack a day smoker you should get at least 3 batteries. Also get a bunch of cartos, atties and at least one t-tank and a couple of high nic sample packs of juices. Don't think of it like you are quitting smoking cold, if you have a bunch of different juice and few ways to vape you will find something that you will like better than smoking.

If I were you I would go for a mod. I paid my learning curve with all the starter kits but none of them worked as expected. Some had bad vapor (and taste) others had very poor battery life. I recommend the Reo. Yes, it looks strange but once you learn to use it is a great device and you simply wont want another cigarette.

Hey , new to this too, after much research on this forum, I went with the ego-t, nothing to compare it too but I haven't had an real cig in 2 days. some dry hits till you get the thing flowing good. Vaping is amazing. I don't even want an analog. Started out on 25 mg juice as I'm a heavy smoker, will go to eighteen right away as its pretty strong. Good luck.

I started with Green Smoke starter kit, cost was a little high but im also new to vaping, so far has work great. Very easy to use and lots of vapor to mimick lungfulls of smoke.

The Green Smoke is a rebranded KR808D2. It works but, it's way overpriced. You can get a KR808D1 from Vapor4Life that will perform just as well for a lot less money. Also the accessories (cartridges etc.) are more available for the KR808D1. Those are cheaper too.

Lastly, the battery life just isn't there with either of those options. The Riva is a lot better choice.

As a heavy smoker, you are probably going to need long battery life, so you might want to avoid the cigarette-sized minis.

The Riva is a good choice for starting out, but you might also need more power in the long run.
That's when you might want to consider getting into the larger models.

If you really, really want the best though, the current answer is probably either the ProVari, the Darwin, or the Reo Grand.
But I wouldn't shell out that kind of money until you've learned more about what it is you want and need from an electronic cigarette.

What concerns me more, for you, is making sure you get high enough nicotine strength.
I think you should start no lower than 24mg strength, and you may even need to go higher for a short time.

So I suggest getting a bunch of samples sizes in 24mg strength, and maybe a few in 36mg strength just in case.

Hi and welcome. I have been a lurker for a long time on this forum and have learned alot.
I agree with DC2
Get a starter kit such as Riva or JoyeEgo, which are not too expensive. You will learn a lot. Then, you will probably want to graduate to a mod like the Provari which costs more. Bonus is that you can use your Riva or Ego starter kit as a backup.
