Actually - this situation might be a very interesting one to check into.

A facility such as that - 'giving' an e-cig which the FDA claims is dangerous.... without testing
with Dr.s there and nurses, etc etc etc (is this city/county/state run hospital?)

kinda like Miracle on 34th st - with the letters to Santa and the Post Office.

Who runs the hospital? What doctor would 'give' an e-cig? In my mind it would be the specifics of situations like this that could possibly be of benefit to the p/v 'cause'.

To Be Clear - I think this is great.
AND
This would be an excellent news story to show a situation where vaping IS not only allowed but in a way almost 'prescribed'. Especially when the patch and gum and yadda yadda yadda are 'approved'.

Details as to the reasoning behind giving a patient a product 'unapproved' by FDA and the fact that a hospital dispensed it.

That is what I was thinking. I will see if I can get more information, and see what the e-cig was, it sounds like it was a disposable, she said it was only good for 4 hours.

Like I said she is my ex-mother in law, so specifics I dont have, but I can probably get.

I will look into it more.

Maybe this is something not just in this case but in other cases that should be explored more. If hospitals are giving them, it must mean something, because usually hospitals just give the patient a patch.

It's not at all surprising that some hospitals were handing out e-cigs to admitted smoking patiance. Remember, before this bogus FDA "report" came out, the mainstream media was actually painting a very favorable light on the e-cig and many doctors (including mine) originally were speaking in favor of them. The FDA took care of Big Pharma though and put those good news stories to rest quick.

I suspect many doctors looked at that FDA report and shook their heads in disbelief.

They should put the FDA administrators in the nut house. They'd be begging for ecigs....

May I have my e-cigarettes,

You sit down, Mr. Cheswick,
and wait your turn.
