If you sub ohm go with a unregulated if you like building higher ohm go with 100-150 watt box get best of both worlds. First version of ipv v3 had issues I believe. The sigelei 100 watt is solid like a few things on that over the ipv. Comes with magnets (you can put them on ipv) recessed back helps with preventing leakage getting into the sigelei. No touch fire I find it useless but thats just me.

Let me ask you guys this...

My new favorite atomizer is any brand that has 4 post, native 3-coil setups. I own a Stillare V3, and I recently just purchased an Onslaught RDA. Both have identical designs as far as the positive post and negative posts go, just a few subtle differences here and there. I can tell you that my Stillare V3 - Best tasting & vaping atomizer I've ever tried. Now literally all of my other RTA's and RDA's are in a drawer collecting dust... it's sad really , TObh V2, Hobo, Russian 91%, Kayfun Lite v2, Kraken RTA, Patriot, Plume Veil, Mephisto V2... all just sitting there. Thats how much of a 3-coil, 4-post RDA fanboy I've become.

That being said, my go-to build is a .19Ω - .23Ω build. I use G-Plat 26 gauge with Koh Gen Do organic cotton almost exclusively. My build is quite simple, the 3 coils are all wound around a #0 Stanley precision screw driver, I think a #0 size is like 1.8mm or around there.

  • - 3 coils, all a 6/7 wrap or a 7/8 wrap. Admittedly I do the 6/7 wrap more because I love the quick response, but I'm not a fan of having to switch VTC5's every 2 hours and burning a 10ML bottle of OMG's W.T.F juice every 2 days. But hey, I'm freaking hooked, a junkie to this build.

Now that you know my build and my Ω range I like to vape at... From what you're saying my only option is an unregulated box mod .... right?

I don't think it's possible/safe to vape @ .18Ω - .21Ω with an IPV3 or a Sigelei 100w ... I think I read somewhere that the IPV or sig100 can only register .2Ω

Any advice from the ECF fam on what I should buy? Price isn't an issue. Just point me in the right direction please! I love my Skeleton Key and my Cartel mods... they are my babies... but I really want a double 18650 box mod because I'm lazy... and I want to try something new... personally I think the box mod's look like trash, but I'm a fan of the benefits/performance I've seen on YouTube.

Thanks fam

Get the IPV3. It can run down to 0.08 with the new update and voltage up to 7.6 (I measured the actual voltage to the coil). With a 0.2 ohm build you can run up to 165 watts, the max. It will pull about 29 amps and the system is limited to 40 amps. I believe it is far "safer" then mechanical mods. If you for some reson have a short in your coil the regulated will just cut off, whereas the mech would have a huge amp spike.

Also remeber, if a battery is rated at 35 amps you can pull 35 amps. So just doing a high amp vape is not dangerous if your equipment is rated for it.
